Sinner will win USO 2024

As a counterpoint, Sinner has a 50-5 record on the year so far, which is a 91% winning percentage. He also leads the tour in titles won at 5, and of course, is world #1.

Taking the most titles, being ranked at the top, and winning better than 90% of your matches is pretty dominating. And things are looking good for Jannik as he heads into the indoor Autumn season, where he historically plays some of his best tennis.
Yes he's won some 500's and gone deep at the tournaments but he still "only" has 1 slam and 2 Masters this year. That's not dominant.

Djokovic three years ago held all 3 slams going into the US Open. Now that my friend is dominant. or in 2015, Serena held all 4 slams and 2 Masters going into the USO. Dominant.

I feel he will, He has a point to prove and I think he will be ready. Plus, Med's form is off, while Sinner has caught his earlier 2024 form.
I think if he wins that he wins it. Meddy has been one his toughest matches over the years. If he overcomes it I think goes all the way. On the other side it is an amazing chance for Zverev again to at least win the final and maybe more.

The box of cream that was "accidentally" applied to Sinner literally says Doping on it lol

“According to Italian law, a visible sign indicating the presence of a substance included in the WADA list of prohibited substances must be present”, reads the paper.

Trofodermin cream, as mandated by law, is sold in a packaging emblazoned with a warning that the product contains a doping agent. This warning would seemingly make any argument of inadvertent use untenable. A warning so problematic that athletes’ lawyers have had to address the warning head-on during disciplinary hearings.

Not to relitigate the facts again, but the antiseptic that his trainer used was a spray (not the picture of the cream you are posting), it was applied to Naldi's hand (not directly to Sinner's body), and it had been taken out of the box already (and the box discarded in Italy) when his physio gave it to Naldi to treat his cut. Ferrara (the physio) testified that he had warned Naldi that it contained the banned substance, but Naldi claims he did not hear this.

Also, there is a 2020 research study where they tested how easy it is to cause a positive anti-doping test with this over the counter antiseptic. Not only did one of the experiments in the study show that a person with this substance on their hands could cause a positive test in another person via a massage, but one of the other experiments had a subject spray the antiseptic on his hand, wait 60 minutes, and the shake 7 people's hands. 6 out those 7 volunteers who shook hands then tested positive to the drug. Therefore, it is very easy for this substance to transfer transdermally and create a false positive test.

"Detection of clostebol in sports: Accidental doping?"

The Independent Tribunal investigated both the science and the circumstances behind Sinner's case, and they unanimously ruled that the source of the failed tests was credible and that he bore no fault. No reasonable athlete would expect that a massage from their trainer would cause a positive doping result as happened here. Sinner could not have done anything differently. The Tribunal also followed the ITIA rules to the letter, so there was no double standard or cover-up. Anybody claiming otherwise does not understand the anti-doping testing and appeals process, nor understands the science behind this case. Everything else is just conspiracy theory or nonsense. Unfortunately, Sinner's reputation is tainted forever and his physio (in particular) and trainer deserved to be fired.

I don't disagree and won't die on this hill.

However, I think the standard you are applying is very high. Basically, the examples posted are two of the best seasons in the history of the game. Two 500s, two M1000s, and a Slam on the season (so far) is pretty amazing. However, even if Sinner wins the US Open, another M1000, and the World Tour Finals in 2024, it still would not stand to up the definition of "dominating" that you are presenting.

As i predicted post Wimbledon that Sinner is absolute lock for USO , Djokovic was too happy and satisfied after getting his elusive Olympic medal and Carlos has been bang average on HC for a year. Many cocky Carlos fans trolled us for saying this. He's the better player and is on the right process, Carlos winning two slams out of nowhere but thin margin after doing absolutely nothing for a year have fooled many people. Meanwhile Sinner has been improving and focussing on the process, result will follow. Hell yeah , get ready for Sinner's dominance.
Bro you’re not helping

Why did you do this thread? Now he’s not going to win the open

Sinner's victory in the US Open would be a big failure for the sport in terms of fair play, etc.

Damn man!! I like Sinner as much as the next guy but his fans make it impossible for me to support him. All that gloating and belittling Alcaraz with a single slam is too much for me. Alcaraz has literally beaten either Sinner or Djokovic to win all his 4 slams. I really don’t know why Sinner fans gloat so much. Let the guy win lol.

PS: I really wanted Sinner to win this USO as it keeps the Sinneraz rivalry closer but looking at these type of posts I am rethinking my stance.

How cute!! You're a Carlos fans and nobody doubted Carlos, all I said was Carlos was bang average on HC for almost one and half year. Btw nobody cares if a Carlos fanboy support Sinner or not.

That’s all you said? You attacked Alcaraz, mocking his teeth like some sick high school bully. Overhyped Sinner declaring CYGS and then a wimbledon win, you turned many on this forum against him because of your actions. @dking68 has been much better while you have doubled down with your nonsense. Learn some humility.

I know man, Sinner stans made me even more supportive of Alcaraz.

While I find Sinner as boring as possible what is it with your obsession with Carlos? “Oh no, someone mocked his teeth”, heck have you read what is constantly written here about other tennis players on TTW??? I have seen posters wishing death on players they don’t like, so don’t exaggerate here with those bully accusations.
On another note: this dking guy is one of the most annoying fanboys around.

Imagine thinking a Lil trolling about someone who is not even aware of your existence is bullying lol :-D

The OP will make weep and now make a thread once again why Sinner is "hated" here. Proper clown.

Imagine being so low iq to hate a player because his fans are hyping him , what a clown you have to be. Anyway, i said Carlos has been bang average on HC for over a year and look son your daddy has been proven right again, now stay humble and be quiet.

Yeah, had a 3 slams last year and never lost at AO semi. Seems like you're sht sacred of Sinner domination lol.
The only reason that he looked indestructible was due to how weak the tour was.

A player winning three out of four grand slams at the age of 36 is a clear indication of problems.

No player should be dominating in their mid to late 30s.

Not even Novak Djokovic.

Roger beat 35 year old Andre and Andre wasn't in the same tier as Djokovic. If you discredit Sinner you will have to discredit Roger as well.

Don't underestimate Medvedev.
