Sinner's Career Simply Cannot Withstand A WADA 2 Year Ban!

The WADA is seeking a 1 or 2 year ban.
2 years is a long time to be out. Even for the young Sinner. It is unprecedented for any ATP player to sit out for 2 years and return to the elite level.
Elite level meaning the favourite at every Major.
Please note that his arch rival Alcaraz might be sitting with 8+ Majors upon Sinner's return.

Let's hope that the lawyers can bring justice to the young Sinner!

The decision in Sinner's case seemed very odd given the way doping law is framed so I expect his penalty to be raised. He will probably get around a year minus time served and minus other factors.

By the time the decision comes down he'll probably be eligible to play again. There will be no significant interruption to his career.

What ban? He's not getting banned, relax!

A 2 year ban is what the WADA is seeking. WADA does not play to lose.

WADA is just a power hungry greedy group. they are very upset that they werern't given any kickbacks or favors so this is their way of getting back. There are same guys that were on the Olympic committee years ago so that tell you something right there

If they had followed this like in others cases (for example Marin Cilic), Sinner should be handed with a provisional ban of 2 years in March, and he would go on to appeal and it would be reduced to 4 months, it might take a full year to resolve it, but Sinner would be back on court early next year, that's based on how long the similar cases took to resolve and how long the suspension would be reduced for similar negligence cases. If they had followed a timeline like this, WADA won't even bother to look at it. What happened here was ATP and ITIA worked together to help Sinner and he received virtually no suspension at all, and the worst part is, they kept it as a secret, the optics is extremely bad, and that's how it got the attention from WADA. In my opinion, Sinner only has himself and his team to blame here, they tried to bury it in secrecy, now it backfired, he put himself on the crosshair. If they had announced the 2 year provisional ban in March, and Sinner went on appeal and they all helped him to resolve it in the lightspeed, everything would be over by now even with the 4-month suspension, there might be outcry of preferential treatment but WADA would have little interest in him.

It is tragic that WADA is harassing your fav Carrot and upsetting my fav Raul.

This corrupt and vindictive organization of freaks that stalk tennis players around the world and demand their bodily fluids and which is currently being investigated by the FBI is playing a dangerous PR game to try to rehabilitate its damaged reputation. CAS unlike WADA is concerned about its own legitimacy and has lowered the penalty anytime a tennis player’s case has been appealed so expect WADA to come out owing your Carrot a minimum of six months of his career back.

WADAs days are numbered in any case. The US doesn’t trust WADA at all ignoring its whining to pass the Rodchenkov Anti-Doping Act without a single member of Congress voting against it. Perhaps harassing your Carrot will have a silver lining in moving tennis to jettison WADA and return doping protocols in-house.

In other words, Dick Pound is a thoroughly establishment figure, unlike the fantasy figure in your interpretation.

Your favourite Dick Pound was reprimanded by the IOC ethics committee.
  1. In February 2007, the IOC ethics committee issued a recommendation regarding Pound. They stated that Pound should "exercise greater prudence in his public pronouncements" related to doping matters.
  2. However, the IOC ethics committee declined to take steps toward removing Pound as an IOC member. They also found that they had no jurisdiction over WADA (World Anti-Doping Agency), where Pound served as president.
  3. In response to this, Pound stated that he was accountable to WADA, not to the IOC.
This reprimand came in the context of Pound's outspoken advocacy for strict drug testing and his allegations of cheating and corruption in sports, particularly his comments about Lance Armstrong. The incident highlights the tension between Pound's aggressive anti-doping stance and the diplomatic considerations of international sports organizations.

This is just the usual bureaucratic in-fighting. You accused Pound of far more serious matters before that thread or those posts were wiped.

I dont want his career to be over if he gets a ban....

How am I going to fall sleep without my favorite bland person and his baseline bashing? What about my feelings?

WADA has never sought to ban a player until Sinner.
This is the first time that WADA has appealed a tennis doping decision.
Wrong.

WADA has sought to ban Gasquet, but failed.

Richard Gasquet will be able to play in next month's Australian Open after the International Tennis Federation and World Anti-Doping Agency failed in their appeal against a decision to overturn a ban he had received for testing positive for cocaine.

There was no chance of Sinner ever being the favourite at Roland Garros or Wimbledon, he's literally lost 6 sets in a row to Djokovic at Wimbledon, while Alcaraz has beaten Djokovic in TWO Wimbledon Finals!
And Sinner has won a total of ONE clay events in his career... and it was 2022 Umag.
