Since last year much talk have been about Alcaraz's effective use of the forehand drop shot and rightly so. He's probably the player who uses it most and in the best way.
But Sinner has developed this strategy into his game as well, especially since 2023. Sinner isn't exactly known for his touch & feel but rather his clean and powerful hitting. But you can't argue with results. It doesn't have to look the smoothest, as long as it lands where it should and he wins the points, it's an effective strategy for him.
