Six One and Pro Staff on the same racket ??

1 - Wilson BLX Pro Staff Six.One 95 (white and red paintjob)

2 - Wilson BLX Six.One BLX 95 18x20 (candycane paintjob red )

So the first one is an Six One with a pro staff mold more control oriented ?

and the second one is pure six one blx right more tweener oriented ?

wilson made the naming schemes really confusing around 2014. they both have pro staff lineage. there was the PS 6.0 that sampras endorsed that has the box beam, and there's the PS 6.1 classic that has a 95 sq in that the wilson 6.1 line is derived from. both have pro staff heritage. in your example, racket #1 is a pro staff but not a "true" 6.1 other than the naming. it's a modern version of the 6.0 95 that was sold as a platform frame with really low SW. racket #2 is a true 6.1 stick. other than the obvious string pattern differences, i wouldn't say one is more control oriented than the other as both are player's frames. racket #2 definitely isn't a tweener. imo, 6.1 95 18x20s are harder to use than any other pro staff including the 6.0 85.

if you're looking for one to try out, i'd imagine the PS 95 is easier to use since it can easily be modded to your liking. also the 16x19 pattern on the 95 is a lot easier to use than the 18x20 on the 6.1 95

6.1 was a a Swing Index tool that Wilson used to indicated which players the racket was made for. 6 SI rackets were for advanced players with long strokes. I think the .1 or .0 merely indicated stiffness but I can't recall for sure.

So there are a number of Six One's: BLX, Prostaff, nCode, Hyper Hammer, KFactor. All different frames.

which one has a shorter handle ( I mean more manuverability ) ???? I dont really like the box beam shape im looking for a 6.1 with the best manuverabilty but with an "round beam"

why would a shorter handle mean more maneuverability? the pro staff 95 is more maneuverable with the much lower swing weight. i've tried all of the 16x18 patterns and only a couple of the 18x20 patterns, but the 2012 blx 6.1 95 had the lowest swingweight of all the generations. it also was the most hollow of the generations as well though.

Can you answer my question arent the same six one or the pro staff six one is not six one ??? only the box beam changes right ?

let me give you a straight answer:
you have two choices, if wilson is what you're looking for
there's the 6.1 team - only available on 18x20, and current version is 100 sq.i. (old ones were 95, search on that bay website)
the second one, I don't know if it's still available, the Asian version of the 6.1. - Wilson has a couple racquets built for Asian market that are lighter versions, I used to play with a guy who had the 6.1's in Asian specs, weighting like 310 or so
There you go
