Size comparison Nike Cage 3 vs Asics Court FF 2

Title. I currently wear Nike cage 3s in men's 7.5 and the fit is perfect. The shoe itself is alright but I want to try the FF2s which sound better in basically every category. I've read that the Cage 3 runs small so people go half a size up from other shoes. To those that have tried both, how does the sizing compare? And what should I expect comparing the shoes?

I wear the same size in both because having the correct length and how tight the heel is are more important to me than toebox width. The Cage is definitively tighter in the forefoot and midfoot though, so I would (conservatively) consider going an half-size down if you're sensitive to width.

At least they're equal in that you should consider replacing the laces for both...

So would you say the FF 2 is a bit longer despite the same size?
For reference, my dad's size 7.5 vapor x are noticeably longer than my 7.5 cage 3s. I find his Vapor Xs to be a tad too long.

Well I use 9.5 in vapor x, 10 in vapor knit so if that helps you. But FF2 are longer and a bit wider than the regular nike 10

I briefly tried Cage3 before going back to GR7. It was full size difference for me because of width of Cage3. I normally wear size 8 in GR7, Speed FF but had to get size 9 in Cage3.

You can always order 2 sizes and return one that feels too small or too big.

Both a bit longer and wider. They're not extra wide or long, it's just that the Cage 3 is really snug.
