Rao is Federer him self for Rod, Tsonga is Nadal for Safin, and Cilic is Djokovic for Nalbandian...Laughable

When I hear RodDick, Ancic, Nalbandian, Gonzales, Safin... as great competition it makes me

Guys like Raonic ,Nishikori who cannot even wins piddly Masters or for that matter handful of 500’s outside of DC are top of the list ... LMAO

Why are we discussing tennis ? New York is averaging 800 deaths every day

Look at all these 80's and 90's era mugs, most barely level with Del Potro and Tsonga - what mugs.

Sampras: 203-37 (85%)
Lendl: 222-49 (82%)
Agassi: 223-49 (82%)
Becker: 163-40 (80%)
Edberg: 178-47 (79%)

Courier: 118-38 (76%)
Chang: 120-53 (69%)
Ivanisevic: 110-50 (69%)
They won many more matches than Del Potro and Tsonga.

Great stats. No doubt 2007-2012 is the greatest era of all time. Shame the tour fell off a cliff in the following years.

Poor guys are doing good, look at stats, but are unlucky to play in strong era ;)

Yes, they won more matches than them.

What does winning more matches mean? You seemed to only care about the percentage in the OP.

Are Tsonga, Cilic, Nishikori, Del Potro and Raonic better players than Courier? Is Gasquet better than Chang? Etc...

Yes, another prove that Delpo, RaoRao and few other from the list are unlucky to play in strong era... In usual era they would have few slams themselves...

I think your logic is crap but at least you're consistent (y)

Sampras, Lendl, Agassi, Edberg, Becker, Courier dealt with other ATGs.

The ATGs of the 2000s are the Big4 instead.

MILOS above Roddick. People didn't want to believe me when I said that but the truth is starting to come out.

"Anyways, this is not the time to discuss tennis"
Raonic will win a Slam eventually. He owns the next gens in slams.

2-0 vs Zverev
1-0 vs Tsitsipas
3-1 vs Kyrgios
1-0 vs Garin
1-0 vs Opelka
1-0 vs McDonald

Total score against players born since 1995 --> 9-1

They were only ATG's because secondary players like Chang and Ivanisevic were so poor - a guy with a lower win/loss than Gasquet was Pete's biggest competition at Wimbledon...

Given the Next Gens' returns of serve you never know if someone could bot his way to a Slam in the future. Unfortunately Raonic is about to turn 30 and has been injury prone for a while.

Nishikori owns them too --> 10-1 against born since 1995

He never played Zverev or Tsitsipas though.

In the legendary year of 2015, the leader of our list Juan Martin Del Potro did not play a grand slam match and went 2-2 for the season. The other tennis Titan so revered in this thread being Milos Raonic, played a total of 11 GS slam matches in 2015 with losses to Djoko fan favorite Kyrgios and Deliciano Lopez...

In this pathetic era Roddick would be a Wimbledon champion.
The 2019 final was pretty much a mugfest. It was an epic match for the stakes and drama but the quality was pretty bad after the 1st set. I'd favor peak Roddick over that Djokovic for sure especially considering ARod returned Fed's serve in 04 about as well as Djoko did. So the serve-return gap (which is what matters most on grass) is pretty big. Any reasonable Djoko fan would concede that A-Rod's peak is better than Djoko's W 19 which is probably Djokovic's worst slam. However, outside of 2019 I don't see him winning any other Wimbledon's. Maybe if he played his best level he could snatch W 17. I think Murray beats him in W 16 based on match up more than level. Murray owns serve bots.

Three players that averaged more early exits than Goffin and Bautista Agut won 5 slams and were all #1
