slamless year for Nadal?

This could be a slamless year for Nadal if he is injured or exhausted by the FO/Wimbledon time. And he has no AO to comfort himself with unlike 2009. Bottom line, this year could be worse for Nadal than 2009... Ouch.

I think this post would make a bit more sense if you posted it after RG/Wimbledon if Nadal doesn't win any of them. Nadal is playing great and he will likely beat Djoker on clay and grass. HC is his worst surface by far.

He gives an in-form Djoker a tough 3-setter on a hard court, and you think he has no chance at FO and Wimby? Really?

Sigh! Only at TW.

I know right, its obvious he is going to win 0 slams the real question is will Djokovic ever lose a match again?

Nadal was in form too. This HC was playing like clay. Circumstantial evidence puts the smart money on Novak.

If this HC had played like clay Nadal would have won the match. Take a look at Masters 1000 events on clay on the last 5 years. Stop trolling. You'll be crying in two months time.

I see so Nadal automatically wins on clay? You might want to ask Sod about that.

Well it's obvious that he doesn't win every match on clay, but his winning % on clay is simply amazing. What i'm trying to say is that HC is HC and Clay is clay. You better wait to see how Djokovic does on clay against Nadal before making predictions like that. When Djoko won AO and IW in 2008 people went crazy here in TW and you know what happened later, Novak needed 3 years to win a slam again..

One defeat at RG in the last 4-5 years and suddenly Rafa isn't the favorite to win all CC masters and RG? Wow dude have a look at his overall record and titles on Clay.

Then slap yourself in the face for being a ****** bag and an idiot.

Edit - Damn he's banned, I wanted him to come in here and feel lower than a bow-legged caterpillar.

I think he's still the favorite at RG and maybe a little at Wimbledon. He is by far at his best on natural surfaces. That said Djokovic has such a great lead on year end number 1, Nadal basically has to repeat last years performance to stay on top and that's going to be near impossible. I'd like to see him bag another major or two this year though, if he's up to it.

Miami is for sure a slow HC but plays nothing like Roland Garros. and remember, RG is in something like 9 weeks! I don't think Novak will have completely fallen off or anything but who knows what is going to be going on at that point.

If RG started Monday I would still consider Nadal heavy favorite, slightly less for Wimbledon but still favorite.

And if Federer and Nadal get run over by a bus it will be slamless for both of them. And if Djokovic and Delpo are also run over by the same bus, then maybe Andy Murray will win something. Wat u tink?
