Sleeeep

Sleep matters alot. I just want to know how much u guys usualy sleep and what time to what time

mine is like 8 hours on weekdays. 11-7am

Sleep is problematic for me. On weekdays I can't fall asleep until after 12 or 1 am and I get up at 7:15. On weekend go to bed the same time but get around 10:30. Sleep is very important, and do you guys invest in a good mattress? Mattress is the most underrated and underinvested stuff for its importance.

Simmons Beautyrest (EXTRA firm), baby!

BTW, same issue here... night owl and love sleeping in.

6-7 hours or less, 7 days a week. Sat or Sun I can't sleep past 8:30 (but usually up at 7) doesn't matter what time I go to bed, otherwise I feel like I'm wasting my day.

i don't sleep much on weekends coz i wake up to play.. otherwise, it's about 6hrs

in college, i slept like 3hrs a night.. but i wasn't playing tennis though either

Back in the day, I could easily sleep in until 11am on weekends, now that I have kids, I can't sleep past 6:45 or so. On a good day, I'll get to bed around 11pm, but once in awhile I'll fall asleep putting my kids to sleep at 8:30 or so and just sleep straight through until the next morning.

Sleep is necessary for muscle repair and growth. You can work out like a beast and see poor results if you're sleeping 3 hours a day due to work, school, or both. I usually get only 6 hours, but I'd surely change that if I could.

I usually go 7-8 depending if I have stuff do to. But lately right before I fall asleep, I start getting tiny little itches which wakes me up. Anyone have a remedy for this?

Could be allergy to fabric or detergent if the itch is in areas that contact the sheets. If in legs, could be restless leg syndrome (or nocturnal myoclonus if the itch is accompanied by muscle twitching). Ordinarily, I'd say try some benadryl in the event of allergy but I just read a paper suggesting that the anticholinergic properties of benadryl may increase the risk of Alzheimers (a disease of loss of cholinergic brain cells) if it's used chronically.

usually 8-10 hours, then a nap in the afternoon, I often work till 4 am so sleep is key, an eye mask is my best friend in the world.

Varies quite a bit for me = I'm very nocturnal. Usually get 6.5 to 7 hours but sometimes I'll get an extra sleep cycle or two and get 8.5 to 9 hours. Whenever I shortchange myself on quality sleep (< 6.5 hrs), my tennis really sucks -- both my service toss and my serve returns usually suffer as a result of sleep deprivation.

Metropolitan Life Ins. Co. has been collecting data on things like sleep, weight, and lots of other correlates of longevity for many decades. Their data, which is strictly correlational with no inference made concerning causation, shows that 7 hours is the period of daily sleep associated with the greatest longevity.

The thing that sucks about sleep is that if you don't get enough for a few days in a row, as we all have from working too hard, it's impossible to make it up by sleeping an entire day for a long period of time. Not getting proper sleep is like not getting proper food, namely, throwing your workout away.

I sleep around 1:30 and wake up at like 10... I just hate sleeping early. It's, I dunno.. BORING. Hehe...

I just got back from my freshmen orientation for college and I just planned it so my first course starts at 11 M-F. I'll be able to sleep as much as I want, yay...

I'd probably say I sleep 12 hours a day or so now that summer has started =/. I do need to start getting up a little earlier dont I....

Whenever for however long. I can't sleep on any kind of schedule. Some days I get 2hrs, others 10hrs. Working out beforehand helps, but not always. When I go to go to sleep, it's a crapshoot if it will actually happen, regardless of how tired I am. Sometimes there's a week where I can sleep on a regular schedule ~8hrs/night without a problem, but as to why this happens, I have no clue, my diet/activities are the same, it never lasts long though.

11 pm to 5:35 am (workout starts at 6) I sometimes take a nap after tennis. 5:35 am always comes too quickly!

man i always get a huge energy boost right at midnight than i usually work for a couple hours till i start yawning than pass out.
wake up around 9 usually.

I'm about 7.5 or so per night most every night. Usually to bed about 9-9:30 and up at 5-5:15 on weekdays and about 10-10:30 to sleep on weekends and up about 6. If I really push it I can sleep in till 7.

I used to be able to sleep till like 2-3 in the afternoon in my college days but no more.
