What sort of thing?I did some life changes I was supposed to do since long ago, and my sleep is getting better now.

Sounds really healthy, the first one must be tough, hard to imagine not haveing a glass on a Friday.Stop drinking, reeducate sleep with pills for awhile, now only melatonin, eat less and healthier.
Reading Dali's poasts have driven many to take up drinking.Stop drinking
That’s exactly the reason that had prevented me from stopping all these years.Reading Dali's poasts have driven many to take up drinking.

For sureI am happy to sacrifice one night of good sleep over a glass of fine wine.
You deserved it. I woke up to a beautiful, sunny and bright morning today. I slept well last night too.For sure… I’m on my first glass of bubbles and after a hard days night … and its wonderful, worked hard all week.
Alcaraz Djok final Sunday, despite being busy kept an eye on that all day. Good tennis and some more records.
Thanks, jealous that you've got some sun, it’s been like a monsoon season here since Jan began. Great you got a good night as well, able to enjoy the sun with some energy. You deserved it. I woke up to a beautiful, sunny and bright morning today. I slept well last night too.
I have not watched any tennis in the last few months. I feel completely done with it.
We are actually getting the sunny weather since the big snowstorm, but it’s cold though. To be honest, we are having a brutal winter but the sun and the blue sky makes it better despite the cold. I like rain but I can see how tiresome it can be if it rains all the time. That happens a lot in Vancouver btw and Seattle. Thanks, jealous that you've got some sun, it’s been like a monsoon season here since Jan began. Hopefully you saw some of the final today … Carlos was excellent as was Novak, unbelievable achievement to make a slam final at 38 nearly 39, he defies all barriers and odds. Goat like. Carlos youngest to win all 4 so more history made. If not tennis did you get a chance to play any table tennis?
Hopefully it warms up soon, and you get chance to get a game in. I didn’t watch the final. I didn’t watch AO at all in fact; wasn’t even following the score. I had no interest.
No, didn’t play any table tennis though wouldn’t have loved to. This weekend I was mostly busy with other things.
Actually after dinner, I was laying on my couch and watching TV, and I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. I have now finally come to bed and not feeling as sleepy. I will probably read something or listen to some podcast until I fall asleep. This weekend is the long weekend for us so very much looking forward to it.I’m hopeful that the Sleepless are fast becoming the Sleeping thanks in part to the contributions on this thread.
It took only one response to end this thread. What a waste of 77 pages. Easy riddleAre you in Seattle?
Sounds like your busy schedule is haveing an impact, I’m often pretty weary straight after work and then perk up a bit. Some racket sport has always helped. A good book when you go to bed is helpful for sleep as well. Do you have a public holiday?Actually after dinner, I was laying on my couch and watching TV, and I just couldn’t keep my eyes open. It’s not always the case. This week was just a bit tiring. Yes, we do have a public or as we call it, Stat or Statutory holiday this weekend. It’s called Family Day. But Quebec doesn’t celebrate it so it’s not a long weekend for Lleyton.Sounds like your busy schedule is haveing an impact, I’m often pretty weary straight after work and then perk up a bit. Didn’t realise that different states had different holidays, similar I suppose to Scotland in the UK which I think has some days that are unique to it … is it a long weekend this one coming? The extra day or so must be nice, enjoy. I’ve got Monday off and 3 days in a row is very welcome. Took the extra day because work is so hectic but I’m sure it’s the same for lots of people. It’s not always the case. This week was just a bit tiring. You do have a very demanding job. It’s good that you can play some racket sport after a long day.
Yes, we have days like those where not every Province and Territory celebrate the same holidays. For example, St. Patrick’s Day is only observed in Newfoundland and Labrador sometime in March.Didn’t realise that different states had different holidays, similar I suppose to Scotland in the UK which I think has some days that are unique to it … is it a long weekend this one coming? Same here with St Patrick’s day, I think. It’s good to know that Monday morning will be relaxed, no rush to get ready or get to work, rather ease into the day with a good breakfast and strong coffee. Good chance as well to catch up with any orange headlines, struggle to keep up sometimes because there is so much going on.Yes, we have days like those where not every Province and Territory celebrate the same holidays. This weekend is the long weekend, yes, which means this coming Monday, we are off. So 3 days in a row which is nice especially in cold weather. Good that you took the day off too!
That sounds very nice. We are having a family day on Monday so lunch at cousins.Same here with St Patrick’s day, I think. Lunch with the fam sounds great, enjoy. Are they cooking? That sounds very nice. We are having a family day on Monday so lunch at cousins.
I am not into politics but orange headlines are good entertainment I must confess. There’s truly too much going on; in fact, since Covid we haven’t had a decent break.
Yes, and I am bringing a couple of dishes as well.Lunch with the fam sounds great, enjoy. Are they cooking?
I can’t stay away from politics at the min, it’s so crazy and there is so much that we need to be aware of with orange policy really having global consequences. Encouraging my sons to be politically and socially awake.

As a European Freeloader I’m with Macron in Europe getting into the big league with the US, Russia and China, kinda diluting the Orwellian big 3.Yes, and I am bringing a couple of dishes as well.
True, we all need to keep an eye on it because things can change any minute. I have always hated the idea of having one powerful country. Things need to be equal across all things to have the right balance.
That’s a big number to celebrate! Hope you all have a ton of fun!As a European Freeloader I’m with Macron in Europe getting into the big league with the US, Russia and China, kinda diluting the Orwellian big 3.
Just in the way to a relatives 80th bday, should be fun. Enjoy your food!
Party was really good, food was better, lots of people made traditional Indian dishes though if you asked me I’d struggle to remember the exact names. That’s a big number to celebrate! Hope you all have a ton of fun!
That sounds great. I haven’t had any Indian dishes in a while. Butter chicken seems to be very popular here. Almost all restaurants have it on their menu here in Toronto.Party was really good, food was better, lots of people made traditional Indian dishes though if you asked me I’d struggle to remember the exact names.
It was to delicious, couldn't stop eating it all the time we were there. Enjoying the day off, sun popped its head out, just to let us know what were missing. How was the weekend? That sounds great. Weekend is still going! Lunch at cousin’s today. Will be heading out shortly. It was to delicious, couldn't stop eating it all the time we were there. Enjoying the day off, sun popped its head out, just to let us know what were missing. How was the weekend?
Thanks, how nice to have a long weekend and get cooked for, must say I could get used to a lazy Monday, so much better than getting on the bike, especially in winter.Weekend is still going! Lunch at cousin’s today. Will be heading out shortly.
So the sun finally came out! Hope it comes out more and more.
Glad you enjoyed the delicious food and the party. You should enjoy the day because you so deserve it.
Yes, of course. Wasn’t there a talk or conversation of having a 3 day long weekend and work extra hours on the remaining days? I am not sure if I was on board with that idea. Thanks, how nice to have a long weekend and get cooked for, must say I could get used to a lazy Monday, so much better than getting on the bike, especially in winter.
For sure ... in the UK you can request to work 4 days and work all your weekly hours in that period. Long days but I'd take that for another 3 day weekend, yesterday a lie in to 9am, doesn't sound like much but it was great.Yes, of course. Lazy Mondays are the best on long weekends!
Oh that’s nice if you have that flexibility. Long weekends truly feel special. The extra day helps so much both physically and mentally. I have however come back to a crazy Tuesday, but at least yesterday, we had a lot of fun.For sure ... in the UK you can request to work 4 days and work all your weekly hours in that period. The first day back after a weekend no matter how long nearly always seems to be nuts … is that the penance we have to pay for enjoying an extra day lol? Unread emails are as long as your arm and come with a collection of disappointed authors. Half the first day is usually spent going through them, just in case there’s something important that needs attention. Despite all this going to take next Monday as holiday as well. Carried 15 days over from last year so a lot to take this or I’ll lose them. Prefer a Happy Monday followed by Mad Tuesday, rather than straight in to a Manic Monday.Oh that’s nice if you have that flexibility. Long weekends truly feel special. I slept in until 9:30am yesterday even though I had the time to sleep in more, but I was done with sleeping by then.
I have a strategy around those emails (lol). I clear out, as in, delete the junks first. Then I focus on the next level of junks where I’ve been copied unnecessarily because someone thought I needed to know or should be in the loop. Then I focus on the ones where I need to know but don’t need to act on them or at least not immediately. Finally, I focus on the ones where I’m addressed directly. It’s a painful exercise but what else can you do?The first day back after a weekend no matter how long nearly always seems to be nuts … is that the penance we have to pay for enjoying an extra day lol? Good system, I think I use something similar but not so well organised, will adapt for next weekI have a strategy around those emails (lol). I clear out, as in, delete the junks first. Oh, that sounds nice! And why not? Happy Mondays I say! I had carried over some days too from the previous year too, but I spent those on my last vacation. Our fiscal year goes from October to September unlike the traditional December to December.
I prioritize my bosses, followed by the ones I need to action. The first day back after a weekend no matter how long nearly always seems to be nuts … is that the penance we have to pay for enjoying an extra day lol? I’ve implemented something similar and it’s been helpful. What’s difficult is colleagues disturbing you when you need to focus, that’s when working from home really works. May well do the at tomorrow.I prioritize my bosses, followed by the ones I need to action.
It doesn't take long to scan/filter the rest and ignore whole groups.
Woke at 1.30am and 5.00am, at which point I got up and strung my son’s racket. Poly Tour Pro is great to string if you don’t mind a bright yellow string bed.
Seemed so last night, I’ve got more rackets that need doing in case of a repeat tonightYou are waking up as often as if you were sleeping on a string bed.
