title says it all...looking for a new shoe that's snug (average foot width), kinda cushy, and give you that 'low to the court' feel..not a fan of the bulky soles or too much height. thinking vapors or one of the asics solution speed or swift maybe...any others worth checking out?

Usually low to the ground and cushy are at odds with each other.

So I think what you want is the holy grail; but it doesn’t really exist without compromise.

What has fulfilled these requirements for you in the past?

Agree on Wave Exceed Tour and Vapor 12.

Maybe a barricade also but those will be considerable heavier than the first two.

I like the frank works shoes I've been using lately. With a 6mm toe-heel drop they feel quite low but are cushioned/comfortable. The strap is a bit odd at first but does work. They have a wider toe box (the rest of the shoe isn't as wide) so you may not like that as much. Interesting shoe and worth a look
