My forehand has been so on an off and inconstant for the past 2 months. It has been driving me maddddddd. I have messed with my grip, my stroke, you name it. Well yesterday a guy I hit with once in a while but not since my problem asked my why is my head moving so much at contact. Told me it was so obvious, I was lifting it on every forehand! Ever notice how Federer is still locked in to the ball well after his stroke has hit the ball?

Just like in golf, move your head and everything in your upperbody moves and poor shots are inevitable. Well, within minutes of focusing on keeping my head level at impact, my forehand is back and better than ever! What a difference! It felt awkward at first, but within minutes I was smoking everything.

Bad habits are easy to fall into without even knowing it.

wow, that EXACT same thing happened to me, even the part with the guy pointing it out like its the most obvious thing in the world.... are you me?
