He might be using some Tecnifibre Black Code - he's sponsored by TF so it's possible, I guess.
Some kind of Tecnifibre string im sure. I hate their string though. One time I strung my stick with it after like 5 strokes they popped. Ridiculous.
If it popped after that little play it's either a manufacturing defect or maybe a shearing issue occured if you hit the ball near the frame. You're in a small group of people if you hate Tecnifibre strings though. Their quality control is among the highest in the market and they have a great reputation for real nice strings. Some of their strings have won some prestigious awards.
It shocked me because I didnt hit the knot or anything. I also talked to some of the top guys playing for UT and Tecnifibre sponsors them, and most just paint their strings red because they hate them so much.
Why would you paint a string because you hate it? I don't even get that statement. Does painting it make it play better?
I wish Tecnifibre would sponsor me but I'm nowhere near good enough.
I meant they use different string and paint it red to look like Tecnifibre string.
You can tell them to send me the string from Tecnifibre that they don't like. I'd be glad to take it off their hands.
Haha yeah I wouldnt mind it too bad either. But most college teams, D1, 2, and 3 even have sponsors and players get free string.
Yeah I'm sure they do. UT = .. ? Tennessee? Which school was it?
University of Texas.
