Im usually playing with 24-23 kg tension with a Hyper G. Recently I had a shoulder injury and i dont really know if this injury came because of the stiff racquet/string combination, so Im trying to find any good alternatives

Head Lynx (the regular not the tour version)
Volkl Cyclone Tour (but it doesn't last long)
Luxilon Element
I used Poly Tour Fire in my PA23 and it wasn't uncomfortable. Think it was 1.20 guage though.

You could also try stiffer polys strung lower.
This is not a poly but I'd say try it anyway, Gamma Marathon 15L. Excellent Control for a synthetic gut and good spin. Definitely more comfortable than even soft poly and probably lasts longer.

I’m biased towards Mayami Magic Twist. Though I do pair it with Tier One Ghost Wire for extra comfort (and better tension maintenance).

A lot of the strings with “soft” in them definitely play soft. However, I’ve found that even a stiff string like Volkl Cyclone 16 will feel quite soft when strung at a low tension around 40 pounds.

+1 cyclone tour for soft and spinny. but beware, it loses tension quickly and unwinds after so many hours

luxilon element rough is also good. loses tension quickly too, but after it settles, keeps life longer than cyclone tour.

Another +1 for Cyclone Tour 16. I get around 8-10 hours max before having to restring. It is currently my go-to string, very happy with it.

Is it worth it though?
I was certainly impressed with it, thought it performed well and was a quality string. I am no authority but think the price seems reasonable/fair compared with other strings. Not cheap but not expensive, to my mind, although whether its performance and feel are worth it compared to what you use I do not know. What do you currently use?

Not expensive? Seems at least double the price of Durafluxx or Tour Hex.

Not quite sure which you are referring to but from what I could find on Mayami or Tier One’s websites those are between $10-12 a set, while Alpha is $12.50 on Grapplesnake’s website. Seems pretty close to me.

The reels were $75(with 30% off) for Tour Hex/Hit Pro/Big Spin etc (and free shipping), $79 for DuraFluxx (plus $20 shipping to Canada), while M8 and Alpha are listed at $159.
So I stand by my math.

If you're coming from Hyper-G then definitely try Hyper-G Soft.

As do I, comparing like for like with full price compared to full price, not a special sale price compared with full price. Whether a brand currently or in the past had great sale prices is a different matter, and indeed those other brands may have better sales, I do not know. At the brands’ regular prices, however, their prices are fairly comparable.

No way Jose. You are tiresome. Go check now: $79 for DuraFluxx (plus $20 shipping to Canada), while M8 and Alpha are listed at $159.

I did indeed check it out, where it indicates it is currently discounted from $134 normal price. That is a great current price and if one were buying right now, fantastic and go for that one if they are comparable. I am not arguing that in the slightest. In terms of fairness to the brands, however, I compared their normal full prices, which are $134 compared to $159. That is all and not sure why you are feeling the need to be abrasive. Oh well, at this point I too find you tiresome, so I am glad we can end this in some form of agreement.

Haha to be fair, I can kind of see why you might have thought that. Alas no though, a scientist and simply prefer information be represented accurately. That is how a proper comparison can be made. For sure, if it was between those two currently it would be a no brainier to buy the one on sale. I never disputed that. While I get that point, I do not understand the refusal to consider how comparing a momentary sale price for one brand to another brand’s product on full price is not representative. That is all.

Well for a 5 year year plan (like in socialism ahem), that would be accurate of course.
Practically, we shop around and stock. I asked and apparently poly strings will outlive me, so....

I got 9 hours out of it. Feels very good while it's playing well. I strung at 48lbs in an 18/20 98 Sq inch.
I agree with black code, also at that tension. Wish it stayed playable a little longer, though it's not bad there either.
