Any good comparisons or reviews for the above strings? I cam across a TW review/comparison between Hyper-G vs. Tour Bite and would like to know where Revolution would fit in?

I found revolution to be softer and more power than both, with much better tension maintenance, though the spin was less and I personally didn't like the deal on contact in my 18x20, felt mushy.

What gauge did you use in your 18x20?

I currently have two Yonex DG 97 330 strung. One with Revolution 16L @55lbs and the other with Hyper-G 16L @53lbs. The Hyper-G feels softer, granted I don't have both racquets strung at the exact same tension.

I found all had similar power levels, but hyper g and revolution had slightly more. Haven't played revolution in a while tho but would love to play it again. Revolution was softer, but somehow was very controlled. Tourbite has the most spin, then hyper g, then revolution but hyper g for some reason doesn't have a lasting SnapBack as much as the other 2. I enjoyed tourbites crisp feel the most; revolution was a bit too muted. Tourbite is more durable than hyper g. They're all great strings and I could play with any of them.

could you add cyclone to that list? ;p This might be confusing if you take those strings in a different gauges and rate them. 18g revolution should have a lot of spin and better comfort vs 1.25 strings. Should compare them in same gauges i guess..

i thought HG was similar to cyclone, but superior in every respect

i only played with 16g Cyclone and HG

TB i used 16, 16.5 and 17 with 16.5 being BY FAR the most playable

Revolution 16 is borderline unplayable
Revolution 18 is awesome
Revolution 17 with right now ... low powered... grabby ... comfortable ... but I had to stand on it for 5-10 mins to loosen it up (originally strung it at 53/51)

Pretty much agree with you, except I found tourbite to be more durable than hyper g. Playing several school matches a week added with practice, tourbite 17 broke in my graphene xt speed pro in almost 2 weeks, while hyper g 17 broke within a week.
Cant recall how well revolution held up tho

What the...
Revolution 16 broke in a month for me, Tour Bite broke in 2 weeks, and Hyper-G has been holding up for 2 months...I hit the ball pretty hard and with a lot of topspin...is it just me?

both give good spin and durability but i found that the play ability for me is better with hyper g and it also has a bit more spin I find slightly more control though with the tour bite.

I much prefer TB to either of the others. I would think the only reason not to use TB is if you hit with so much spin that it causes your ball to sit up. I have never liked Hyper G and Revolution is an OK string but lacks the wow factor of TB.
