Solinco M3

It exists and it has made me abandon my blackout xtd. Its a 16x20 99sq. To be frank, this is the type of racquet that rewards everything hit with intent. Its not a tweener type frame but if you like to build out points through heavy shots and placement this racquet is so freaking solid and smooth, such an addictive sensation on well struck balls

This is exciting to hear!

Im 99% sure I used this frame (friend has one) and it gave me "if the blade Pro didn't flex as much" vibes.

So a little clubby relative to other modern frames. A leather grip to make it more HL would probably be a good move

Edit: to clarify, I mean this as a good thing. I think the blade pro is too hard for the masses to use. This frame doesn't seem that way at all

Was thinking the same thing. 6 sets played, 6 sets won. I haven’t had it on the doubles court yet, so I am interested to see how it does with extensive volleying & 2nd serves, but initial results are positive.
I volleyed really really clean with it today. Can’t be certain on things until I’m medically cleared to hit serves but first run this morning was really good hitting against a solid 5.0 half my age

I think they’re still testing variations so there’s likely different layups and specs floating around.
Correct. I have 2 variations. Both are ~289.5 SW unstrung. Both are excellent frames. One is AWESOME. POV feedback from my partner: winds the ball up differently. Ball accelerates and explodes forward after the bounce. Pushes his racquet back and twists the face in contact. If this variation becomes the retail release, it’s going to be a winner for sure. Just incredible.

Curious what the variation designator in the throat of the AWESOME one is? DM me if you want. I’m curious to ask them for comparison to versions I wasn’t able to try

The first one I received was 27.5”, 304.9g, 0pts. Swung like a 2x4, absolutely obliterated the ball, but after a game or two my arm was spent.

The second one was 305g, ~ 8pts HL, also 27.5”. Slightly more flexible, much easier to swing. Perfect mix of power, control, and spin (for my game). I definitely get more from my Blackouts, but I make far fewer errors w/ my prototype. So far it’s been a joy to hit with.

I've not really tried this stuff, but been very keen to as a true gear head.

Be nice to have another alternative in the market. And might be the racquet that might break Solinco in big time. And maybe get them into the hands of a tour player and get them a name in racquets to match how they are known for their strings.

Looking forward to trying this one. Enjoying my VCore 100D and it seems like this might end up with specs in the same ballpark...?
If VCore and Python are both red then please pick any other color.

Interesting. I just got two, both 16x20, different string spacing, but both 27" long, with eight mains in the throat. They are within 0.3 grams of each other in weight with one at 306.3 and the other at 306.6 grams, both with the plastic wrap still on the handle. Solinco's quality control is excellent from all of the racquets I've seen.

Any pics out of this new Solinco name tbd out?
Other than the post from Solinco at the top of this thread, no. I know I was asked not post any, and I'm guessing the others were as well. I'm not even sure if they've decided on the mold yet, let alone a name & PJ. I've only seen black, which I pretty sure is already taken...

Have you guys been trying the oval one or circular ? Circular one has a little tighter 16x20
Not exactly accurate. It’s more nuanced. The rounder hoop has the center mains spaced closer together but the outer mains are gradually spaced farther apart. The crosses are spaced closer together. The oval hoop has mains and crosses that are more evenly distributed. Between the oval and round hoops, the round hoop has the outer most mains spaced wider than the oval hoop while the oval hoop has the top and bottom crosses than extend closer to the frame than the round hoop.

[EDIT 6/6/26: Info/pics approval from Solinco]
There are now only 2 competing molds for this racket - M32 and M33
Look closely you can see shape and string pattern differences.
PIC Below - M33 on LEFT & M32 on RIGHT

[END of EDIT 6/6/26]

Finally a Solinco Racket I can be excited about.
Both @mad dog1 and Amy Zhu like it.
No other recommendations needed.

Got it...it's currently called the Solinco Block Out..
Meaning.. block out the pics now...
Or maybe it's called the shout out... Only allowed to talk about it..

Both are great, but the oval one is really excellent. From her YT video, looks to me like Amy is using the oval one.

As a "normal" recreational TTW poasting idiot my dream is always the 2 x matching blacked out versions of the final prototypes in L4 (any racket, not just this one). But my dreams never come true.

Last Sunday, @lidoazndiabloboi was able to hit with the ones I currently have.
I definitely enjoyed hitting with the more oval shaped hoop with the more openly spaced strings. Felt like I could feel the strings pull up on the ball when hitting. The way the frame was balanced, made it quite easy to swing. I typically need a heavier racket to get stability out of my frames, but in a near stock spec it was quite stable as is.

The rounder hoop frame with the denser pattern felt almost like a 18x20 racket, and had trouble feeling the ball grab on the strings. It definitely felt more "controlled" but not something I would expect from a 99sqin frame. Had some issue with the balance and weight of the racket. Even thought the stock weight is low, i felt the way the frame was contructed, actually made it difficult for me to swing with good speed.

Both rackets had a nice flex to them and are quite comfortable.

Overall, I think this would be a good addition to their lineup, between the Blackout and Whiteout.

Interestingly both frames have pretty much the same specs but swing differently.

To give the other members some perspective, my frames are spec’d out just shy of 325SW strung. Lido’s frames are typically set up around 335-340SW strung.

Their only existing Silo where the color/name works and is not too gendered (or not distinct enough) will be the REVOLUTION (also has a spin callout)

Can work with Prism Color Grommets too

HyperG (too bright)
Mach-10 (too bright)
Confidential Soft (too bright)
Tour Bite (not distinct)
Confidential (not distinct)
Outlast (color is fine, but needs a different name)

My latest and greatest idea… You’ve seen the Blackout. You’ve seen the Whiteout. It only makes sense to introduce the Highlight.

Engineered to highlight the best qualities of the Blackout and Whiteout lines, the Solinco Highlight shines from all areas of the court. The unique combination of a 99 head size and a 16x20 string pattern achieves a Goldilocks hitting feel that is just right for the modern game. If you’re ready to show off your versatility and hit the highlight reels, this new line from Solinco is highlighting your name.

Paint job ideas… Maybe a glossy canary yellow frame with black lettering would be nice. Or a glossy black frame with canary yellow highlights. Regardless, glossy paint is a must!

Solinco please hire me or give me free prototypes lol. This could be a gold mine.
