some advice

so i used to use the microgel radical about a year and a half ago. i found the k tour 95 (henin) to have great touch and topspin so i put lead in the handle so it weighed 11.3 strung and switched to that. i got a new coach that improved my game a lot but told me that i should get a racket that is heavier because i have long groundstrokes. i tried the kps 88 and my groundstrokes were really great. less spin but a lot more solid than my ktour 95. i then switched back to my ktour95 after using the kps88 for 5 minutes and balls were sailing. it took me about 10 minutes of pure hitting groundstrokes to get adjusted again. i liked the kps88 but i fuond the headsize to small for my liking, and i need a much bigger sweetspot. then an 88 square inch head. i then tried my coaches frame, the k95, which i have tried many times before, and just like the other times i just didnt like it. my k tour 95 was strung at 59 and the k 6.1 95 was strung at 58, but for some reason the balls were sailing. i just found the reacket to be off. its weird becuase so many people use the racket and it just doesnt feel right to me. i need something that is heavier than 11.3 ounces strung, preferably 11.7 or 11.8 or 11.9. i also prefer 98 square inch head. i remember a long time ago the yonex rds001 was very very solid on groundies but it wasnt too good on the serve. does anyone have any advice as to what i should demo? ps. i tried kobra but i bought 3 before i tried them which aws the stupidest thing ive ever done, because the racket wasnt for me, groundstrokes were flying.

i suggest the Wilson K Blade Tour. It has a 93 sq. inch head size, about 11.8 oz strung, 8 points HL, and a 18x20 string pattern.

Let's see, a radical is too light, a K tour 95 is too light also, a KPS 88 is too heavy n the K95 is too powerful.

Why not consider the Head MG MP or Pro? Or even Factor KPro Tour?

My personal choice would be a Custom Vantage LOL!

I tried that but I like the sweetspot of a 98,, im into midplus moer than mid. I feel that i get more feel and better for off center hits.

What didn't you like about the k95? Was it the sweetspot size or placement? Was it the balance? Please elaborate.

I found the weight to be a bit bit too heavy. I think the main issue was the sweetspot and jsut too much power, which makes no sense because I would think my k tour 95 would have more power.

k pro tour felt like too stiff
im going to try mg radical pro thx
and also the yonex rds001 thoughts on that?

Yeah I have the ntour 95 and it has just a touch too much pop. The K95 is really powerful because of the weight and probably the open string pattern.

Try the microgel radical pro, and prestige.

i wanna try the radical pro i just didnt like the radical mp (not the pro) the prestige pro looks good, i tried it with poly though about a year ago and it felt muted in touch, maybe i will have a different opinion now.

I agree, try the MG prestige MP or the Pro. Or the Tecnifibre TFight 320 VO2 Max at a high tension. Or why don't you try the KPS 88 again. You said you only play for 5 minutes with it ... It took me almost a month to fully get used to the KPS 88. But you know what, now I feel like the racket is, as many said, an extension of my arm.
And you also said that you want a bigger sweet spot... that’s call footwork, something that will be improved by hitting with the KPS.
Best of luck.

Im sorry but I have to disagree with you. I agree that footwork can help the sweet spot situation but my footwork is great. That along with speed is the best part of my game, hands down. I just want a bigger sweetspot. Theres a reason that people say nadal would fall out of the top 10 if he was to use a ktour 90 and theres a reason that people say federer should use a k6.1 95. i just want a bigger headsize, 88 is far too small, let alone 90. the companies have made new midplus racquets with good technology, so i will take advantage of that.

The radical pro is nice n heavy n will play similar to your previous frame as for the RDS001... which one the mid or mp?

i just didnt like the regular radical so the pro version is still kind of a turn off form e. i was talking about the rds001 mp. my bro used to use the flexpoint prestige mp so i tried that today and i found it to be really good. everything was amazing except for serves, especially the second serve.

yeah the flexpoint prestige was better than the microgel. I played with my aerogel 200 today and I suprisingly played some of the best tennis of my life. My groundstrokes were kicking up big, and my kick serve had a lot of action on it.

problem is i dnot want 95 sq inch its probably like the k 6.1 95
how does the flexpoint prestige differ from the microgel
and what are thoughts of those for me along with the rds001 mp?

Dude I thought the k95 had way too much power too. The aerogel 200 is a lot more comfortable too. I really want to try the rebel 95 and aerogel 16 19 before sticking with the 200.

k thx well how does the flexpoint prestige differ from the microgel
and what are thoughts of those for me along with the rds001 mp?

the flexpoint has more swingweight and more pop. I wish they still made these. The microgel just doesn't have enough pop and stiffness. Like it doesn't have enough for a counterpunch or defense shot.

I think the rds 001 would make a light and spinny ball but it would stay in a lot easier than other sticks. Just my opinion by looking at the specs. Haven't tried it.

the flexpoint for me seemed hard to keep it in. what about the prestige PRO? it looks more forgiving, and when you say the microgel doesnt have enoguh stiffness, do you mean its softer?

I think having too keep the ball in is better than trying to get it deep imo. I wish there was a mix between the micogel prestige and aerogel 200. The power and stability from the aerogel with just a tiny bit less swingweight.

I like how with the aerogel 200 if i"m pulled back or off the court I can get it back nice and deep, I usually hit really short with the prestige.

but for the fourth time il say this i dont care about the aerogel 200 im asking about the MICROGEL PRESTIGE PRO and YONEX RDS 001
