I recently bought a stringingmachine and I am about to look into which string I should try out.
But before I was wondering about some of the string stats. I have tried searching, but couldnt really find what I was looking for. So I'm sorry if this have been asked 100 times before.
What I would like to know is how the stats of the strings could be applied on how it affects your play.
For example. What is the difference between 16 ga. and 17 ga.? And the same with the thickness.
So if I choose a string that gives good spin. Would 16 ga. produce more spin than 17 ga. Or is a 16 ga. more comfortable than 17 ga.?
So basicly what kind of effect does the thickness and gauge have?
