Soon-Woo Kwon with blacked out Yonex

Monfils hasn't done anything lately except make a baby
That’s huge achievement. End of his career and glad to see him that he just enjoys his life.
honestly, painful to watch him since he can’t consistently play tournaments from the beginning to end.

I agree, Kwon deserves to get big money from Yonex. Not only because of his value to the SK market but I think he is going to have international appeal. He is a very impressive guy with a great playing style.

Do you know what has happened to Hyeon Chung? The last information I heard is that he has got too much involved in muscle building and looked too big for tennis (this was 1.5 years ago).
Who care about chung nowadays. never ending injuries and his serves and playing style do not improve.
Possibly end of big endorsement soon. Hope he can regroup himself and come back strong and Kwon might inspire him to play tennis.

he played double matches with Kwon in Korea then I heard he tries to come back but not really hear anything after that.

Yes, he tried to come back in last year but have relapsed his chronical back pain while last challenger tour after ATP korea open in korea.

Hyeon Chung, his recent doubles partner at Seoul is also a long time Vcore Pro user. I'm am almost sure in there practices that Chung recommended Kwon the Vcore Pro. It's basically Yonex's version of prestiges.

Chung has been riddled with major injuries unfortunately

Well.. A 5 setter after major time on court to win A2..sucks.. Its all about efficiency imo...
He is a tough warrior and I I hope he reaches top 25 this year....best of luck..

Weird that a guy that was playing with Radical switched to Vcore Pro. What am I missing?

Well.. That's obvious.. That's what seperates the top 3 or 4 from the field. 5 set GS matches.
Imagine the top tier landscape if all matches were best of 3..

It's not really that weird, as he was playing a PT313.2, which, per @dr325i, is a 95" 16x19, 21.5mm beam and a PT57A layup. Moving from that to a VCP 97 (likely the 97H, or close to it) is not that hugely different.

Yea, Samsung doesn't make tennis rackets..... so Yonex has some huge opportunity here, they could increase their sales by 500 %. Only if their rackets aren't so Expensive....
All racquets are expensive these days..yonex isn't more expensive at all...

Nice! Thanks @shinminsoo86

Looks like Kwon has gone official with the switch.. he’s using a racket with the VCP paint.

As per his instagram account comment, He is still testing stage with racquet.

seems not confirmed yet

Would like to know his specs with Vcore Pro! He used to have quite some lead on his Head Radical, but no lead on the Vcore pro...

I love how Head is still using him on all the marketing for the Radical, even though he's not even using one (as well as Sloane - she switched to a Speed).

yonex strings are factory prestretched. i believe they recommend you do not pre stretch further. for the pros it might be to break it in faster.
