As expected, I have written before about that. Made just too much sense. Nadal-Alcaraz will be the favourites for the gold medal as clay reduces the usual double advantage somewhat ad both are also excellent at the net.

Among the other single pairings Rublev-Khachanov and Sinner-Musetti/Arnaldi should stand out.

OK, ADF will be playing. Phew.

Singles lineup: Alcaraz, Nadal, PCB, ADF
Doubles lineup: Alcaraz/Nadal, Granollers/TBD

Does Toni Nadal control the Spanish association or what the **** is going on?

It's Granollers, doubles world #2, and #1 until last week who should be playing with Karl, instead it's the washed up Bull who will be teaming up with RG champion. Disgust.

I was going to say, the player who’s being left out is Pedro Martinez. And if like me you found yourself asking “Who is Pedro Martinez?” that’s the point.

Me made the team too sport. You can put your faux outrage back in the box.

You're right, I don't really care about Spain chances at the Olympics lol.

Still, anyone with a brain can see how this decision is unfair and disrespectful to Granollers. He's the one who should be teaming up with Karl.
At least you admit you’re a troll, lol :)(y)

And you do realize that RAFA has you know, actually won an Olympic gold medal in doubles, right? He has a track record of success there and they’re the two biggest tennis stars in Spain. If anything, anyone with a brain should be able to see that they were always going to be a pair. They’ve been talking about it well over a year now. This should come as a surprise to absolutely no one.

Carlos Alcaraz wants to play with Rafa. He said this a long time ago.

Would love them to reach the singles and doubles final as unlikely as that would be. Keep forgetting Ned won the doubles with Marc Lopez in 2016.

Iirc there was some tournament in 2013 on clay where Ned won the doubles with someone and then beat them in the final in singles

I am not sure where Fokina was born and raised, but I do believe his parents are Russian.
Wikipedia: "Davidovich Fokina was born in Spain (and raised in Spain) to Swedish-Russian father Eduard Mark Davidovich, and Russian mother Tatiana Fokina."

Nadal should not be playing singles. Doubles need to see how their chemistry is.

If you asked the Spanish people which players they would want to represent them at the olympics in doubles, Alcaraz and Nadal would be at the top of the list.

A true Dream Team.

Hello, everyone. If I gonna play singles & doubles with only one day rest, recovery gonna be a problem, ¿no? I will try my best to find solutions. If I can win double gold in singles & doubles, I can be GOAT, ¿no?
