I'm donating two (one borg pro 4 the kids, and a brand new regent woodie 4 the l'il crumb crushers) and trading one (an a-player, perhaps unused) this week, I hope this is a quick lesson...I do have a wilson from 1915 I wanted to string up...it comes from a meat packing plant in chicago, it has Thomas Wilsons full name on it and is called the "Wilson skokie", I am going to string it, grip it, cap it and post it when I have time, and give a review of a 100 year old racquet....and they say that rackaholism is a hazardous condition, p'shaw!!!

It's a good thing I specialise in 80's racquets, otherwise I really would be destined for the loony bin, the way my collecting habit works.

My oldest racquet is a Slazengers (note it's Slazengers with an "s") Victory, issued in 1937, which I'm having restrung with gut (at a very low tension) - it's a thing of beauty with its rounded shaft.

I passed up on a 18th century french soft hoop for $5 (five bux), two weeks later I saw the same one on Sotheby's for $500... I love graphite mids, they remind me of a childhood filled with love and joy. When my parent were alive they really supported my tennis addiction. Maybe it's just a way to honor an remember who I really am. I plan to finalize my collection this year and hopefully I can channel the obsessive racquet mojo into other areas of life. It sure is beautiful to see some female collectors who seriously appreciate and are knowledgeable about racquets....
Doris Hart was a great tennis pro and writer, the graphics on that tribute frame are Americana defined!!! I must see pics!!!
