Speed Pro vs IG Youtek Mid

Has anyone hit w/ both of these sticks? I'm a long time Prestige Mid (flexpoint, microgel, IG Youtek) user and the been considering going to a larger head size/sweet spot. I really like the feel of the Prestige mid, but often wonder if a racquet that was a bit more forgiving would benefit me. I've had ongoing issues w/ the last 2 models of the prestiges I've used (microgel and IG Youtek) w/ cracking in the throat of my racquet. They have all formed cracks in the exact same spot (inside the throat by the handle) and this past weekend one has formed a very severe crack that ran along to the outside of the beam. I always thought they were cosmetic cracks but after seeing this racquet it's definitely structural. Since my last 2 remaining IG Youtek Mids have started developing small cracks too, I need to think about getting some new sticks at some point. Unfortunately the latest prestige's don't look very promising. Just curious of the opinion of anyone who has hit both of these sticks.

Racquets I have tried in the past:
Aero Storm Tour: Thought I really liked it and actually bought a pair. After playing a couple weeks didn't feel as if it was a precise as the prestige and w/ the open string pattern I broke strings too often.

Vokl C10: Felt too flexible and not as accurate.

IG Prestige MidPlus: Felt Stiff and not accurate.

IG Prestige Pro: Less stiff than Midplus, but again not as accurate as the Mid.

IG Prestige Midplus is stiff? That racket is one of the softer on your arm frames that has great control. That would be my go to racket if you need more a bigger head size.

I have had the exact same issue as you with cracking! I stopped playing with mine before they got to where yours are. If you don't want to get more IG Prestige Mid which would be my suggestion I would say try the Yonex Vcore 97 Tour or the Babolat Pure Storm Limited.

Maybe it was they way it was strung, but it seemed that way to me. I only hit w/ it for about 5 mins and wasn't liking it at all. That's the issue w/ demo'ing racquets.

Definitely thinking of getting a few more of the IG Mids before they are gone, but this might be a good time to switch to a slightly larger frame if I can find one to my liking. I will try out the one's you recommended. I was just looking at the reviews of the Speed pro and it seemed intriguing and had a bunch of positive comments.

Where are you in the DFW area and where do you play?

True, when I demoed the prestige mid, it felt like a board of wood because they had pretty high tensioned thick gauge poly. I've been wanting to try it again since people rave about it so much.
