If you liked the Speedport Black, but felt a bit inconsistent on groundies, do try the Speedport PRO White (18X19 string pattern).

I feel it has a very consistent response and surprisingly easy access to topspin. The extra weight (feels heavier than measures) helps with plow-though and depth. Serving requires less effort for a better result than with my PureStormTours.

It was good with the Prince Recoil strings the demo came with, but it is sweet with ProSupex Maxim Touch at 55 lbs (constant pull machine) (bought a stick for myself). Suggested range is 58 plus or minus 5 lbs. But I tend to string my tighter string patterns a bit looser. Definitely no loss of control at 55 lbs.
