Anyone from Australia or Germany have any experience with this tennis machine? I like the internal oscillation aspect. Seems like a good machine. Any users feedback pro or con.

This machine will be sold in America early next month at Mamba Tennis.

Spinfire 2

Hello,

we are a german onlineshop wich sells ball maschine like lobster, spinfire and more.

We started this year with selling the spinfire machines and we sold 10 pcs up to now.

All customers are satisfied and all machines work well (no complain up to now).

The quality is very high, so i can promise you that you will be happy with this machine (if you buy it ;-)

Thanks tennisman!!! I really appreciate the vote of confidence. I think I am going to purchase one. I will do a review when I receive it and put it through some heavy workouts.

I've used the Spinfire Pro 2 before, and its a very good machine. the random drill really gives me a workout if i'm feeling fit haha, and the ability to adjust spin is handy to work on a lot of different shots.

its also got a two line drill, wide and narrow which i find is a really nice feature if you're just wanting to work on your movement side to side.

spinfire pro 2 machine

I have a spinfire pro 2 and it has been a good machine. However, after a couple of years my battery doesn't seem to charge anymore and so I'm going to replace the battery over Christmas .. about $70 for a new battery, but I'm pleased to say that it is something that can be done yourself and the batteries are easy to find in stores or online.

The machine occasionally sends out 2 balls at a time - which is annoying.
The other thing is that often balls are left in the machine without being sent out. Only minor issues, but I've enjoyed using it.

Why is it that a simple extra feature, seemingly, costs a lot extra after you get to your basic topspin/slice machine?

Product development costs are very high. They need to tap into consumer surplus and this is one way. Its a good thing.

Which ball machine would you get between the elite 2 and Spinfire pro 2?
I researched both models extensively, talked to the representatives and decided to go with Spinfire Pro 2. They include remote as well as the swivel is hidden unlike the Lobster where the whole unit turns giving you advance notice on where the ball might land. In a real game setting, it is difficult to get that sort of notice so Lobster play is not realistic. Also, here is the clincher for me.. the Lobster warranties their rollers for only 6months where as Spinfire for 2 years. I didnt buy lobster's bs explanation as to why they warrant their rollers for only 6months and instead took my business to Spinfire.
