By the way has anyone got their hands on the black RF polo. I have been trying to get one, it is the hardest polo to get hold of EVER!!!! Websites have been advertising it for pre-sale, then when it comes to the due date they either take it off line or push the date back. What is going on??

This is my prediction of what RF is wearing where and when.
1. Abu Dhabi (not much of a prediction now)
2. Doha ONLY + Australian Open night
3. Australian Open Day
4. Rotterdam and Indian Wells
5. Miami
6. Blue Clay Madrid and Rome
Now, we know he's wearing the black top AGAIN for Rotterdam...!
...And there is 4 left to wear :
- white top
- white polo
- blue abyss polo
- black polo.
Last year, the summer line started in Miami.
Assuming they also start the summer line in Miami this year, there would only be 2 tournaments left for Federer to wear a different top/polo : Dubai, Indian Wells.
If they start the summer line later, with clay courts in Monte-Carlo, there would be 3 tournamenst left : Dubai, Indian Wells, Miami.
(I guess it's unlikely he still wear the spring line for Rome and Madrid as the "pre-Roland Garros" blue polo will be released)

well if the black polo is only being sold at TWE then i dont think roger is going to wear it at all.
i do think he will wear the blue polo at indian wells and the white crew at miami as there is only one pre-roland garros summer polo wich i dont think he would start wearing at miami, it just doesnt make any sense for nike to put him on the same outfit for one of the most commercial tournaments and then on the whole clay court season

...Most probably, yes, as they did in 2011.
But it's weird to have 2 tournaments left for spring and at least 3 tops to wear... and then only have 1 "summer" polo for all 4 pre-Roland Garros tournaments !
(or summer catalog don't show all that will be released... which I doubt)

summer catalog says the summer polo with the little pocket is being released on may 1, exactly one day after the SE ends, another important thing is that roger has always worn a single time outfit at miami, thats because it is almost like a grand slam in terms of nike marketing so they take advantage of how big the tournament is to make sales.

Yup Miami is end of March, so it will still be under spring. I have seen on some websites that he will wear the white/abyss crew in Miami with Abyss shorts. (I have actually seen the Abyss shorts also being sold on nike.com)
Roger is actually not scheduled to play in Monte Carlo. He is playing in Madrid and Rome. I think he will wear something new for Dubai because I don't believe he will wear black during the day matches that he might play there. In 2007, he wore the same design shirt for all the tours up until Miami. He wore the light blue at Aussie, then dark blue at Dubai then a white at Indian Wells. So we shall just have to see, but good possibility for white polo in Dubai with khaki shorts, then Abyss Polo in Indian Wells, then the white crew in Miami.

Woops, looks like I've offended a Federer lover. I love your tone of assertiveness when you're still a green noobie user.
Well, here's my ideological slant on this...
If you're in an exhibition, you should give it a reasonable effort. Find the humorous side and have some fun, get the crowd involved, take this cheap easy chance to experiment some things vs the top players in a non-important match. But ENJOY it. Arabs are paying $$$ to see you doss about.
Whereas Federer, wearing his Rolex during a match, is clearly showing he's in no desire to give it 100%. The least he could've done is enjoy it and see a lighter side. He just choked an exhibition match by trying too hard to give it an element of seriousness when he could've had more fun to just play about.
Thus, IMO - playing in an outfit associated with some poor results and then RETURNING to that, just seems silly. Very silly. You won't see Federer wearing his USO 2011 day shirt ever again.

1 )Judging by the PR shouting from his new V9T shoes, I'd say possibly. However people like Djokovic/Murray are wearing custom shoes from 3-4 ranges back. When would you see Federer doing that? Would you see RF scrap his 2012 V9 for a 2010 V7 for his next tournament? No, that's bad for Nike's sales cos RF is a huge ambassador for their clothing.
2) With Fedex, his appearance is everything to him. Coming out during Wimbledon finals with pre-made numbered blazers or coming onto court with a jacket/jumper/cardigan/trousers combination for Wimbledon 09. I'd say yes.

Well Federer wears his Rolex for every exhibition since thats part of his deal. He gives a lot and plays every match, thats why he has never retired once in over 1000 matches. He has played that tournament and won it previously, but we got to find out later that he was nursing a back injury.
And he has actually been wearing an older version of the vapors up until this year. He may change back to them again after this initial period of wearing them. That nike jacket with 15 was given to him by nike after he won, he never walked on with it.
