Squash racket mounting issue

Hi,

I string on a star 3 and have been given an o3 squash racket to string (on The throat is so far set down that even with extenders the 6 and 12 mounts won't contact, falls about 2cm short. How do you deal with this or just turn the racket away?

Cheers

DIY!! For racquets without an internal curve, I extended the reach of my 6 support with a small block of wood. The grain is perpendicular to the pressure. Wood is 1" long, 3/8" wide with a shallow central groove, and is the height of my 6 support. The wood is pushed against the frame when I extend the supports. It is placed between the central mains. If you have a curved inner surface, I would support the frame with a curved piece of wood. OR you can turn the frame away. :D

Thanks,

thankfully I found the intended solution i have another babolat machine that i bought from a former employee (of babolat and head I think). It had additional adapters I'd forgotten about including some prototype ones and that sorted it. Albeit because the throat goes to such a narrow point the 6 O clock pad won't contact the lowest point of the frame but I have high density rubber that I can cut to fill the gap. Such ridiculous designs!
