St. Vincent's? (Yes I did a search)

I read numerous posts from many of you who collectively have a great deal of knowledge about the PS85's. After reading your posts, I pulled three out of my closet that I used to use in high school, and determined that two for sure were St. Vincents. (one "new" never been strung in "new"/pristine condition including case)

I am having trouble with #3

-no bumperguard
-square string channels
-red primer under black paint
-"GUI" on butt cap under red W
-stickers have been removed
-flat black paint/fairway grip

My understanding is that both St. Vincent's and Chicago made PS85's have red primer, but only St. Vincent's have the square string channels. In addition, some posters stated that not all St. Vincents have letters ending in "Q" on the butt cap.

What do you think? Thanks in advance...

-no bumperguard = All Chicago's, earlier St. Vincents.
-square string channels= All Chicago's, All Vincents.
-red primer under black paint= All Vincents, Most Chicago's
-"GUI" on butt cap under red W= Most Likely Chicago.
-flat black paint/fairway grip= Chicago's/Vincents.

"My understanding is that both St. Vincent's and Chicago made PS85's have red primer, but only St. Vincent's have the square string channels. "

Both have have the square grommet channel.

In addition, some posters stated that not all St. Vincents have letters ending in "Q" on the butt cap.

Nearly all Vincents end with the "Q". However, I have seen a few with an "X". As others have stated, try and post some photos.

wow a chi-town ps 6.0 85 definitely post some pics if possible. Would love to see what one looks like. I heard chi towns play better than rex grossman in a superbowl.

Thank you all for the help. I would be happy to post pictures, but haven't done so before. Any tips or assistance would be appreciated.

You need to upload the photos to a server like photobucket.com. It's free. You will have to open an acoount though. (no money or credit card).

From there, copy the "img" link provided by photobucket and paste it here when you are ready to post them.
