well, it's not really luck. They ended up ranked #16 - so they host. As they should. They just won enough matches to edge Michigan for that #16 spot.

so it's on. Michigan barely won doubles point. Somewhat surprising it was that close. That's a good omen considering potential matchup with Stanford tomorrow (if, ahem, all goes well). Meanwhile, a bit up north at Cal Northwestern was down after doubles to Utah State, but they just evened with win at #1 singles.

Wake struggled vs UK, so i can see at least a Close match if something goes right for Stanford. Stanford can win doubles and Chrysochos lost to Bushamuka so why not also to Fawcett? Wake should win other positions but who knows?

Stanford will go Undefeated next season all the way to 2018 NCAA championship title. They have 2 freshmen coming in that is good enough to be top 200 pro in ATP tour.

He quit the team beginning of his sophomore season in order to focus on school. He's trying to go to med school.

Fawcett rallies again down 40-15 to win the set 7-5! The Cardinal advances to tomorrow's quarterfinals!

Keep it going Fawcett. Main draw of US open is in sight.

If your boy is thinking about the WC he's doomed. Focus on the next task. I have a feeling he knows this. Good luck to him.

He is dominating the tour already. It might get too boring in NCAA D1. he should spend at least 2 years at the Farm though

Personally feel like he should've gone pro by the way he plays. Doesn't owe Stanford anything, and has the abilities to go straight to the Tour if he wanted.

Geller might want to reconsider, judging by his results at this year's Wimbledon Boy's. He was runner-up for singles and won doubles.

If Geller turns pro, Stanford still has Timothy Sah and Turchetta coming in both top 10 Blue chip players. Should dominate the NCAA regardless. and if Geller does come to the Farm,,, then heck Cardinal may not lose a single match all the way to the NCAA championships......
