Stan's or Murray's career?

It's a no-brainer (for me anyway).

In addition to his 3 Slams, Murray is the only current player to achieve the #1 ranking outside of the Big 3, won double digit titles in Masters (only current player to do this outside of the Big 3 and 1 of only 5 players ever), won the WTF and back to back singles Olympic gold medals (only player ever to do this).

Stan had an amazing career with his 3 Slams. However, outside of his 3 Slams and a solitary Masters title, he did nothing else.

Murray has the better resume by a mile. Can beat all big 3 on his day unlike Wawrinka who just tortured Nole but Fed could handle easily. Murray is so consist and his average level is miles above Stan’s.
I still feel though I’ve seen a higher level from Stan than Murray unfortunately it was about 2 times a year.

Murray. Murray is a knight of the realm which gives him certain privileges us mere mortals can never attain. He is a SIR and as a SIR he can go to Wawrinkas house and demand he give him his FO no questions asked on the order of her majesty.
Its like the Queen claiming any land she wants, Murray can claim any title he wants so he’s basically like that dark pikachu pokemon card with silly health and single moves that can sh1t all over your pokemon deck at once with ease.

Murray has accomplished a lot more and has made a lot more money in his career. I will say though that Stan’s slams are a lot more legendary in that he took down a peak Nole with pure shotmaking and took down Nadal in a final.

Just by numbers Murray, if it includes playing style Wawrinka.

Though winning THREE of the four slams puts you in a very select group.

We’ve been through this before lol. It’s Murray by a long shot. Olympics, #1, WTF, Davis Cup, More masters.

I do think peak Stan is better than Peakray though.

Djokovic is friends to both. And as only true friends could, he contributed to the career highlights of both!

Of course Murray.. Same no of slams and World No 1 along with 2 Olympic singles gold medals. How is this even a question?

I think Stan's career is cooler, but worse. I love how he flew under the radar for most of his career but would occasionally play tennis on par with the best players, win and then disappear.

More fun than Murray getting hyped up every major of his career and then disappointing and having people constantly mad at you.
Murray still ended up having a miles better career, and achieved what he set out to do i.e. Win Wimbledon. Even Stan would exchange Murray's career for his

Murray's alopecia and neckbeard vs Stan's great hair line but facial dermatologic issues... A tough one for sure!
Nevertheless, it's probably more orgasmic to play like Stan when he's at his peak, even if it only happens once in a while. So i'll go for Stan.

I wouldn't go that far LOL. He has as many slams as him.
I honestly dislike this new trend of judging player greatness based on grand slams only. 2 gold olympic medals, double digit of masters, YE#1, YEC, over 40 tournaments wins and multiple grand slam finals/semis is much much stronger resume.

They're level on Slams, but Murray has the YE no.1, two Olympic singles gold, a YEC, more Masters in addition.

3 different slams, or 2 slams and 2 Gold medals?
Stan has beaten Nadal,Djokovic in slam finals besides beating Fed once in a QF. He has won 3 slams sames as murray but at 3 different venues.

I would pick murray over Stan because he was the more consistent over murray. He was leading h2h against Fed at some point and has a better record against Nadal and djokovic comparing to what stan has.

Murray has

3 slams
40+ weeks in No 1
I time YE No 1
1 WTF
11 masters
8 time slam Finalist
2 olympic Golds(Rare and lone achievement)

Wawrinka never reached NO 1 Ranking,1 masters title and I time finalist in slams.

So Murray has a long consistent career and he could have won 8-10 slams if were not in Golden era of Tennis.
