Though it's the usual suspects, point to highlight is that men's field is too deep.

Look at the 2nd serve points won for Isner. It shows how good his serve is since he's the only one who has poor (comparatively) ground game.

It's also surprising that Federer is not among Top 5 in the last 2 categories.

Stats don't lie?
What do these stats represent? Overall career? Only US open? Some info please.
Assuming you are speaking of the US open? I say let's just ignore the fact that Federer has played most of his matches in cruise control? Stats don't tell the whole story.

If Isner's serve was so good, he should be in the top 5 for the first serve percentage. If anything, this seems to suggest that Isner has a much better ground game than say... Karlovic, since you're much more likely to get in rallies off the second serve.

And it's not at all surprising that Federer is not in the top 5 for the return categories. He's not, and never really has been, a great returner. He's always won by being very hard to break and picking his spots for a break of his own.

Why are exploding all of a sudden?

Actually, I am wondering too, where are these stats from and which timespan do they cover? From US? 2009?

For Isner, I mean his second serve is good. That's what the 2nd stats shows since the other 4 have much better ground game.

I thought Fed is a decent returner and has an excellent ground game. I expected him to be at least among Top 5. But stats may not take everything into account. I dont know actually....

I wasn't exploding actually, didn't mean to make it sound that way. I just wanted to show that stats can be interpreted in various way's. For example what is the serve/return percentage of Murray, Djokovic, Nadal, Del Potro, Roddick And Federer. From QF of slams onwards? I think it would be different.

I actually disagree with that. While Fed's ROS has declined a lot and he definitely isn't a top returner any more, he used to be excellent. I think it was Agassi or somebody of similar status who said Fed has one of the best returns in the game (that was way back though, when Fed was good at returning). I don't understand why he's so passive nowadays. He almost always just chips the ball back when it comes to his backhand. Sure, it gets the point started, but why won't he drive it? I really don't know. If he did drive more and run around the backhand more, his return game would improve drastically.
