Stats question

On the atp site it mentions rafa is the 4th players in the open era to win slam titles on 3 different surfaces. I can only think of two others though. Agassi and Connors. Connors won the US when it was played on clay so that gives him 3 different surface wins. So who is the other player that would mean rafa is the 4th? The aussie open site says hes the 12th but i'm guessing its a mistype and they meant 12th in the open era to win at 3 different slams - not 3 slam surfaces.

But again, the atp site says hes the 14th. That second stat should be a bit easier to find the answer to but as far as i'm concernced the article is wrong in mentioning he is the 4th to win on 3 different surfaces, hes the 3rd isnt he?

Laver's GS wins:

French Open W (1962, 1969)

US Open W (1962, 1969)

Laver did not win on hard courts, all the majors except the French were played on grass

Laver won at all 4 slams but not on different surfaces. US, wimby and aussie were all on grass in his day, none were hardcourt. Yes it was Wilander. To be honest I had a feeling it was him but I spoke to a friend who knows alot of stats and he wasnt sure, therefore i questioned it too. So the 3 before Rafa were Agassi, Connors and Wilander.
