Stefan Edberg with Tour90

I just looked the July US Tennis magazine and there is picture of Stefan Edberg using Tour90 on some exhibition match. I could not believe that Wilson will go that far and make contract with Stefan (who plays rarely) to indorse new racquet. I doubt that he bought them him self.

I read yrs. ago Edberg had 200 Pro Staffs that were "drilled" to the specs. he used during his playing days put away for him . He always used the Pro Staff sans bumper guard.

I believe they are painted to look like the latest "flavor" wilson introduces . Edberg is a great rep. for wilson . A world class player that had & still has everyones respect.

The racquet that he is endorsing is a PS Tour 95 and not a Tour 90. Take a good look at the picture in tennis magazine and you will see the rounded bean and the yellow painting in the PWS.
Is it a real Tour 95? Don't really care, but you can be sure that it isn't a PS 6.0, because it's not a boxed frame.

I've seen pictures of him playing with a Hyper PS 6.1 as well. He played the exhibition at Queens last year with a T90.

I heard Edberg still 'works' for Adidas too. He's a worthy ambassador for the sport in general.

... Pretty sure there was no Tour/Pro Staff 90 when he was on the ATP Tour... Dude was being inducted into the HOF when the first Tour 90 came out

No, he’s was retired. Edberg retired in 1996 and the Tour 90 didn’t come out until 2003

Reminded me that i have an autographed pamphlet I got during his last tour at Indian Wells. There was a massive line of people that waited to get his autograph. As usual, he was soft-spoken and gracious with each fan.

If looking through past gettyimages , it can be found pics of Sampras using the (ncode) ntour 90 in his exhibition match with Fed. It can be seen he added loads of weight tape to the sides. Then a year or so later,
he got his own "heavier 90" made for him in the form of the kps 88.
