He’s an Ariana guy through and through. He likes them skinny and on pencil heels. In his erotica dream, he imagines overpowering Ariana, something he can’t imagine with Sab.

Because Sab is a bit on the bulky side and she wears block heels. Head’s too big because of the big hair, and over the top makeup makes her look older than she is.

They both try very hard to come off as sexy though. I prefer people who are naturally sexy.

Agreed. Britney never had that ability though.
 
I was reading about the vocal tricks, and it always makes me tihnk of Ronan Keating.

Find me a worse cover song than this. I don't think you can.

What vocal tricks by RK are you referring to here? Studio tricks? Not my favorite cover / rendition of Iris but Not what I’d call the worst. It is a bit too pop-py / adult contemporary for my liking. This interpretation of Iris doesn’t really stray too far from the original— tho it lacks its emotional impact.

How about Machine Gun Kelly? Don’t know if there’s more than one MGK version of this but the monotone version that I heard is easily worse than Ronan K.

There is a Kroger’s holiday TV commercial cover, with Cobie C, a few years back. Many loved it while many absolutely hated it. Ditto for a cover by Avril.

There are literally dozens & dozens of recorded covers of Iris. Mine to be found on TV talent show competitions. Some covers are karaoke-level renditions. Others by respected, well-known artists. Some are quite good. Some not so much. In light of the latter, I would not characterize the RK cover as the worst ever.

Much prefer this 12-yr old Christina to some of the stuff she’s done in the 2000s. She’s got the growl and other vocal special effects here but she doesn’t overdo it to the extent that she’s done in her 20’s, 30s and beyond.

I recall hearing that Jessica Simpson was a semi-finalist for The All New MMC back in the early ‘90s. But she didn’t make the final cut due, in part, from her nervousness in having to follow Christina A.

Britney might not have the extended vocal range or the vast array of embellishments that Christina has but she is no less of an entertainer. In some ways, Brit is a better, more effective / efficacious entertainer. She is a stronger, more prolific dancer and her vocal delivery is quite effective & impressive —she does not overpower her songs with bombastic oversinging as Christina often tends to do.
