Stefanos behaviour after losing

Stefanos acts all upset when he loses often . He doesn’t act like a people’s champion eg goody two shoes Pat Rafter always gracious in defeat and wins nice guy participation awards types eg media darling. .

Stefanos acts likes Tennis is dog eat dog and Everyman for themselves , and he makes it clear he’s not gonna be all happy if he loses and applaud the winner eg unlike say goody two shoes Pat Rafter or Federer or Rafa.

Stefanos acts like there’s no friends out there and thinks it’s silly for players to be good sports. He’s being prickly and competitive. Not nice guy Pat Rafter style.
He doesn’t care being painted a sports villain.

Stefanos often when he loses acts like he’s not worried being cast as the bad guy or not Mr friends with my opponents. He sometimes acts like it’s all about him, and he’s not gonna pretend to be all happy when he loses to the opponent who beats him. He’s annoyed Andy Murray, Mills Ranioc , Kyrgios , Rubelev and others eg sore loser type stuff some say.

I sometimes wonder that Stefanos doesn’t care about getting good PR, and doesn’t care if he’s typecast as the villain unlike say a Pat Rafter Federer or Rafa type eg media darlings and squeeky clean teachers pet image to fans and other players.

Does Stefanos need to change his style when he loses? Or is it fine as is?

He just doesn’t seem as level headed as say a Rafa or Fed or Novak or someone like Ash Barty, win or lose.

He’s very emotional character is Stefanos.

Djokovic is sometimes pretty salty too. Nardi match comes to mind earlier this year.
Fed used to be salty early in his career, and in the aftermath of USO SF 11 where he choked against Djokovic. Otoh that press conference was funny as hell.
I think that Stef is not a bad person, he is annoying with that pseudo-philosophic bs of his, but his family takes the cake in terms of being annoying.

lol Loserpas is a moron who couldn’t be likeable if he tried. There’s wanting to win and then there’s smashing up chairs around ball boys during exhos because you’re just a cvnt

I have the solution for him.
He should avoid losing at all costs, he's a very cool guy, wise and philosophical when he wins.

That's not the case with either of them, you could've given better examples.

Funny how when you mention Djokovic in negative way in non Djokovic topic, you get bunch of likes from people Djokovic left in ruins.
Will those scars ever heal ?

they are all salty, thats how they got there. ever seen a junior tennis brat? or those junior tennis kids who are overly cocky? this is what happens when they make it and expect to win every day. its sadly what makes a lot of them reach this level. i cant stand the greek, just keeping it real, they’re all salty dogs otherwise they’d be feeding u balls at your local club

It's good to get upset when you lose. The trick is to channel that emotion into start winning. Steph seems to have forgotten how to do that (at least for every event that isn't Monte Carlo).

Sometimes? He is always gracious in defeat. With everyone. Nardi may be one of the ONLY counter examples in the recent years. If not the only one. And he had good reasons for that one, he was stolen a key point by the umpire.

Tsitsipas is almost always a sore loser. He literally tried to injure Kyrgios (ON PURPOSE) with a ball in Wimbledon. Not even Zverev or Medvedev sank this low. He insulted Rublev in a press conference. He is one of the worst.

Someone make a thread asking who is the worse (or less gracious) loser in the ATP
Candidates: Tsits, Zverev, etc.

That means they will have enemies and not make friends with a dog eat dog attitude . They are guilty of competitive and salty behaviour. They are acting like it’s a false illusion that tennis is a gentleman sport

When Nadal kept losing to Federer in 2017, his salty face really came out.
At least he didn't cry like a baby.

Plus, your theory is BS. Nadal smiled A LOT in the Shanghai 2017 final, to the point it was almost a meme how could he look so happy after the loss. He looked 0% salty after that match.

His face at the 2017 AO trophy presentation said it all. lol

He was sooooooo salty, just lost to his pigeon, the mentally weakest player of all time, no?
I would say the man who started crying like a baby was even saltier after W 2008 and the AO 2009.

Don't really get the point of this post. Should he act happy when he loses?

I thought how he acted early on his career (his beef with Medvedev comes to mind), was more problematic.
