If I had to choose who wins Us open then my order is- Medvedev , Tsitsipas, Zverev
Have started liking Medvedev more due to consistency he us showing atleast on his preferred surface which other 2 as of yet we cannot say at any surface

He is not winning US Open this year. And most likely he won't even lose to Novak/Meddy but some lower ranked guy. He is in a slump since RG.
What slump, he reached semis in Montreal and now in cincy. You can’t just watch slams and ignore other results.

Thiem is 7 years younger. Too old to be next gen and not old enough to be part of lost 30 and 30+ year old lost gen.

He's part of the transition gen between the lost gen and next gen. These include Thiem, Kyrgios, Pouille etc.

Next gen is Tsitsipas, Zverev, FAA, Shapo, Sinner etc.

Thiem is 6 years younger to Novak/Murray and is the lost generation.

Thiem-Raonic-Dimitrov ..... Thats the lost gen

That just happened this week. Can't hang on my head now because the opponents aren't good now can you. R1 wimby exit and then who did he lose at Olympics?

Toilet break controversy affected him. People just made him villain no 1. 5-2 up in the 3rd against Alcaraz and loses the set. Toilet break must've been on his mind. And the whole crowd supporting the 18 year old.

I don't think he was ready to assume the role of a villain.

Fun facts of the day: Tsitsipas has only made it past the 4th round of a slam 4 times. He has also lost in the first round 6 times.

No BH slice, weak BH returns - no Slam trophy on grass or hard courts. He can take all the bathroom breaks he wants and coaching from his dad between points, but other players will prey on technique weaknesses.

The Big 3 could feel supremely confident against other players because they didn’t have any major weaknesses that could be exploited. Only the three of them were good enough to possibly exploit each other’s minor weaknesses.

So many weaknesses in all next gens. Really over 21, only guy without tennis wise weakness is Sascha but his weakness is his brain.

What's Medvedev's weakness?
Lack of topspin on both wings - he is in the bottom 10% of the top 100 on topspin rpm. Against the very best like Nadal, Djokovic and Thiem, he will struggle to be as consistent in a 5-set match in long rallies. I’m amazed at how consistent he is against other players considering how flat he hits.
