I'm a bit intrigued and confused about this. Steffi played with a Wilson racket from around 1994 to 1999. It has a classic look and headsize, I reckon 85 like a prostaff. But to me it doesn't quite look like a typical prostaff.

Also, you never hear Graf associated with Wilson. In the Tennis-Warehouse excellent article on pro staff rackets, they talk about Pete Sampras, Mary Pierce, Stefan Edberg, Chris Evert as players who have excelled with the pro staff.

What racket did Steffi Graf use if it wasn't a prostaff. Any enthusiasts out there with any thoughts and info?

I think TW was referring to the 6.0 85. The racquet Steffi played with was a 7.1 (a lighter version of the 6.1 perhaps?). :D

I thought she played w/ 7.5 prostaff?
At least this is the racquet my wife has and allegedly the association w/ Graf is what persuaded her to buy it.

I also think it was the PS 7.5. Blue in color, slightly lighter than 6.1. Classic frame and 95 as well. After that she had a white racket with blue and pink, this could possibly have been a paint job.

She used a kind of PS 6.1 in 85 sq in and with 18x20 string patern. Regardless what the paint was saying!
BTW: She still uses this racket with a PS 6.0 90 or n6.1 Tour pj. I heard from her long year stringer that it's still the same stick.

Thanks for your comments, I got the impression the head size was more 85 or 90 than 95.

Probably similar to the 200G she used, which was super flexible, then it stopped production. 18x20 in an 85" makes for one demanding players racquet.

No, it has about 65 RA, but the same weight and balance as her 200g had. And I found the exact specs: 342 gramms and 31.2 cm balance unstrung. Strung with natural gut between 28 and 29.5 kilo.

I remember hitting with that racquet. Pretty nice flex. Hard to find nowadays on the bay. I remember that racquet quite well and the Jim Courier red white and blue pro staff.
