Stiff throat and flexy hoop?

what benefits would this offer?
i'm pretty sure my Dunlop Biomimetic 300 Tour has this type of flex and playing it side by side my Ultra Tour (wich has nearly identical specs) it just feels more predictable and solid. I really tought the UT could be a replacement for it, but it can't.

A lot of the older Völkl c 10 pros had this thing going for it but not now as they have made all their lines way too stiff unfortunately

I think most Yonex frames including the DR98 flexes more in the throat?
Do you think racquets with high RA's yet either low power or high comfort would indicate what you are looking for? RDC machines measure stiffness at the throat so you probably want an RA of at least 65 with sub 22mm beam.

I think we were looking at the VS lines of racquets a while back, did you ever get a chance to hit one? The PA VS seems like a prime candidate due to the thick throat and thin head. My Storm Team GT was pretty terrible, I think it's made from lower quality graphite due to price point and Team designation. It felt really shaky up in the tip even with 15 grams in the head.

It might correlate to what you are saying here as it would make sense, but i don't think you can use specs to determain how the racket flexes in these ways.

That's right!:) This is one of the reasons i'm looking into the PA VS (tour and non-tour). Trying to find one used in my area but no luck so far.

prince textreme tour 95 (older version without the twaron)
Tried the TT95, but it was just too underpowered for me and the sweetspot to small at the end of the day. Fantastic in every other way.

I prefer the opposite. A stiff hoop and flexible throat. Do you S&V a lot and want a more flexible hoop?
I feel like rackets With a Clear flex in the throat has this unpredictable slingshot action (some Yonex frames is a good example of this), wich causes a loss in confidence when going for controlled deep balls.
