Stiffness for 2025 Pro Kennex Black Ace 105

Hi TW,
I wanted to check if the stiffness rating for the 2025 PK Black Ace 105 (59) is something that you all have checked or if this is information from the manufacturer. Asking because previously the stiffness was listed at 65 and I was under the impression that the specs were not going to change significantly. Pro Kennex has the stiffness rating at either 59 or 64, depending on where you look on the website.

Good question. We measure the stiffness using a Babolat RDC machine. Now that we have inventory, I will measure 4 more on Monday and update the spec table if warranted. I will also retest the original sample that was used to determine the currently posted stiffness. For your reference, the stiffness we listed for the previous model was 64. Our stiffness data is taken from strung racquets. The vendor posts unstrung targets. Unstrung frames are typically 1-3 units stiffer than strung ones.

TW sent me a message that they measured additional samples and the stiffness is 61 on average.
