It can absolutely be considered a great match, but I'm not sure that it could quite be considered a classic if all the sets go one way, even if they are all competitive.
I've always been a huge fan of Nadal and Murray at Wimbledon in 2010. There was not really anything at all between them that day until it came to the big moments at the latter stage of each set, and then greatness did out.
Of course you can get straight set matches that achieve some sort of classic status for the performance if not the actual match up. Sampras and Agassi at Wimbledon in 99, Federer and Hewitt at the 2004 US Open, Federer and Roddick in Australia in 2007, Nadal and Federer at Roland Garros in 2008.
