Streak of Winning or Losing to Eventual Champion in a Grand Slam

Brad Gilbert just posted that Novak Djokovic has either won or lost to the eventual champion at every Grand Slam since 2011 Wimbledon - a streak of 11 Grand Slams.

He does realize that Federer eithre won or lost to the eventual champion at 23 consecutive Grand Slams.

I suppose Novak's 11 Grand Slam streak is impressive when you consider that Nadal's longest was 5 and Sampras' longest was 4. So weak by those two players.

As long as Djokovic loses, all is well! :lol: Keep your "losing" streaks to yourself.

Anyways on a serious note, it shows great consistency from Federer & Djokovic. Kudos to them!

Novak soon to have 6-7 finals lost in grand slam! He could make it 6-8 at Wimbledon. But will win us open and make it 7-8
