String advice

I have a client who is recovering from a shoulder injury and he will be released to start playing again at the beginning of January. He uses the rocket launcher Wilson Steam 105S with Kirschbaum Spiky Shark 16 and a 15 gauge nylon for the crosses.

I have made some suggestions on racquets that he should start demoing. A lot of the suggestions I have made have come from what I have read here (DR98, DR100, Volkl racquets etc) but what combinations of strings would help with shoulder pain? I know that a gut, syn gut, or multi set up would be optimal but he wants as much spin as possible so he prefers a poly. Is there a poly/syn gut hybrid that would provide spin but also be soft enough to not cause pain? Lets say he chooses the Yonex DR98 or 100 what string combo would you recommend?

Any suggestions is appreciated.

Good luck. I'm recovering from months of arm problems. I wouldn't touch polys. What's more important a little more spin or still playing?

String have a level of spin potential. You can buy spin, you manufacture it. He already have a wide open string pattern. I would suggest a full bed of Origin. It has one of the highest ratings for spin potiental for a non copoly. Another one is Gosen ak pro cx. and that is for any frame he is using.
Bottom-line: lessons first....most likely the culprit is bad form. Strings & Frame are normally the easy blame...
