String combination recommedation

I was wondering what you all would suggest would compliment redcode in a hybrid string set-up. Im looking for a cheaper multi that would soften the string bed that is more durable and I care little if the poly isn't as soft as nxg or biphase or w.e. I tend to hit the ball very hard(spin and drive) and am looking for some durability. Is this possible with a multi hybrid?

i would never buy any other string that Biphase, i use string savers so they last me.

I recommend everyone to have biphase. this is the best string i ever tried.

i have turned to biphase now aswell they r pricy but i strining them myself so the price isnt problem

xcel is pricey for me. Do you find that stringsavers make a big difference(duh, how much of a difference in terms of longevity?)

Try Ashaway Liberty as the cross. Putting a multi, any multi, in a hybrid with a poly is going to limit durability. A solid core nylon like Liberty of Gosen Micro will soften things up nicely and give a greater measure of durability. Plus it's really cheap. You can get a reel of Liberty for like $25.
