String for RDS 001 90

Would you guys who are string experts consider Wilson Sensation a good match for the Yonex RDS 001 midsize? I'm open for other suggestions as well. I hit with moderate topspin but am not a frequent breaker of strings. I'm looking more for playability than durability. Thanks for any suggestions.

Unless you have the Sensation now, I'd choose Yonex's own string, either the 850 or 880 Ti Soft.

I think sensation would be fine if you are not a breaker, and you like the way it plays. I actually like the feel of sensation better than almost anything, but it breaks in just a few hours for me. The Yonex 850 that Valjean mentioned would be more durable and hold tension better. The feel is different, but still very playable. Let us know what you think if you try it out.

Im thinking of trying either the 850 spin or 850 tour on my Mp-tour 1. Similiar racket to the RDS 001. Right now I'm coming off Gamma TNT-2 16 that has frayed on me and lost tension so I'm hitting quite long. Hopefully the yonex string is the answer. Gotta luv teh yonex :mrgreen:

I am going to hybrid my yonex with: babolat tour twin gut( main ) and gosen og micro (cross) . what tension do you recommend for this setup? I use to string my PS 85 at 53 lbs with rip control 17g.
Have someone tryed the rip on the yonex too?

i actually have the exact setup on my RDS001 90 strung at 60. my other one has babolat superfine play at 58/55...but i havent been able to go hit w/ the sensation setup yet...i'll let you know how that plays though.

sensation 16g are now my favorite Main strings in my Yonex RDS001 mids. Combined with a poly cross and the durability has been excellent and I am saving a bunch of $ too. But the fact that it plays great is the most important thing...
