I bought a pair of used PS 97 (version 11 - black/red), which is currently stringed with Revolve 1.25mm/17, 23 kgs (50,5 lbs) mains 24 kgs (53 lbs) crosses. I played 7 hours with all two racquets, but I don't bought these with fresh stringjobs. Surprisely I don't feel how tension is significantly lost in these almost four weeks and lacks control, which is interesting, because these OEM Isospeed (Tennisoutlet Orange Tiger) which I previously used in my previous racquet, (Graphene XT Instinct MP) was dead after 10-16 hours of play depends on inside/outside playing.

Generally I don't have problem with this Wilson Revolve, but IMHO 109€ which is the price here is expensive for a reel string, and other thing how Wilson have premium brand Luxilon, so this is unlogical to give too good string after Wilson brand, because they are can't sell enough Luxilon. So, I'm finding a string to my racquets which gives similar amount of power, spin and control, if possibile with a bit more comfort and feel, and less string movement, because these strings are constantly moving.

I bought two sets for testing, Yonex Poly Tour Pro and Isospeed Black Fire, both in 1.25mm/17 gauge. Please suggesing tension for this two strings how I don't feel significantly different power/control ratio and suggesting another - mostly round - copolys with nice price/value ratio, PTP costs 70€ a reel here, Black Fire costs 60€ labeled Tennisoutlet Black Spider Tour, I wants a reel of string in these price level.

Thanks guys!

Kirshbaum Max Power Rough - its actually not that powerful and is quite a stiff string, but works well in this frame, even better if you hybrid it with a softer cross but not a necessity i you dont hybrid usually.

I didn't get on with Yonex PTP as much as I did prior to the pro staff

I use the same frame , Volkl Cyclone @ 44 lbs does me .
Best frames I've used in a long time imo.

Volkl is not avaiable here :(

Kirschbaum is too expensive, I wants cheaper string :(

Some suggestions:
Tourna big hitter silver 17 - best poly for the money imo. Good power, predictable, long lasting
Tourna black zone 17 - better for spin.

However, my favorite in this racket is gut poly hybrid

Pros Pro is a good alternative to the named brand strings. Would go for Blackout as its highly regarded as its best.

^ This. You won't get cheaper and you won't get anywhere near the performance even if you double/triple the price. I have used it, I liked it, I just moved to something I didn't need to string as often

Thanks guys!

I stringed Yonex Poly Tour Pro 1.25mm @ 23 kgs (50,7 lbs) to one and Grapplesnake Cube Extra Sharp / Liquid Neon Dust hybrid @ 21/22 kgs (46/48.5 lbs) to the another, so now coming some blind flying, because I dont have racquet with tested setup, possibile how I can play really poor with this. :)

I have a teammate who using pro's pro, I ask for few set teststring

I tested these strings. Grapplesnake hybrid is very very underpowered to me, this 1.23mm Cube cross-section is equal to 1.39mm round string. Possibile, how full bed Liquid can be nice, but currently I don't have any teststring from it.

Yonex Poly Tour Pro is much better, and I feel when I hit correctly this string is make the other part with this frame, but I maybe needed more feel. I don't know, I need more time. Today I played not too well at training, hit too much unsweetspot.

I have test set from Grapplesnake Irukandji, this will be the next, and I'm thinking how I stringing Isospeed Black Fire full bed, or Black Fire/Control (m/x) crosses, I stringed this last for two friend and they're very like this.

Replaced the synthetic grips with Wilson leather grips. Added Tourna Power lead strips at 3 and 9. (3.62g each)

Mine are weighted up to 347g, but with that said, for my game a 16g/17g gut poly hybrid is best. I have a weak version of SW forehand and ohh, all court game. Cyclone 17 between 46-50 strung tension was really good. Alu power around same tension great too, for 3 hours. 4g or 4g soft works too, sub 50#. Last, but not least is Head Hawk. As a cross or a full bed. Slick like Revolve, control city but less power than Revolve (also VG).

Ok, literally just tried this tonight and loved it.

Ytex Square X. Main: 47 lbs, Cross: 45 lbs.

Great control, above average spin, and feels good on the arm. Very nice pocketing.

Earlier I done a faulire with my drop weight machine, because I readed weight on right side of weight, not the left. About this fail I played a half year on 18 kgs (40 lbs) instead of 23 kgs (50 lbs).

About this mistake I tested Yonex Poly Tour Pro 1.25 on 18 kg, and I really liked this string. Now in my two racquet are two different strings, Tennisoutlet Orange Tiger 1.25 (which is a stiffer OEM Isospeed, similar to Signum Pro Poly Plasma) and Pro's Pro Blackout 1.24 (budget pentagonal copoly), all two on 22 kg (48 lbs), and I feel how not any is the best solution for me, but I can play well with all two, Blackout is softer, but Orange Tiger has more playing hours. During playing I don't feel significantly big differences.

I really liked Yonex Poly Tour Pro, but I wants to play on 21-22 kgs because on 18 kgs lacks control. I really liked this feel which given by this string, but I cannot decide how I also like this feeling which can give PTP on a bit higher tension.

Was not good hybrid for you?
What about spin, power and tension maintenance?
Did you compare with the non-neon version of that hybrid?

I done a mistake for long time, because I used my drop weight machine wrong, checked scale on wrong side of weight, and this made 5 kgs difference. Coming from this mistake I played with Yonex Poly Tour Pro 1.25 @ 18 kgs (40 lbs) and Grapplesnake Neon Dust hybrid was 16/17 kgs (35/37 lbs). But it's was also really unpowered and I felt this string don't give anything what I wants.

After this mistake with stringing machine was came, lacking of other testable string I was returned my old friend, Tennisoutlet Orange Tiger 1.25 @ 22 kgs (48 lbs) and I really like now. I also tested Grapplesnake Irukandji on 19 kgs (42 lbs), and I liked this compared 18 kgs Yonex PTP. Few weeks before I tested Pro's Pro Blackout 1.24 @ 22 kgs which was a bit uncomfortable and not given extra spin despite of this is a pentagonal string. Currently I testing Pro's Pro Cyber Power 1.25 @ 22 kgs, but two times I switched racquet after 5 minutes, I feel this uncomfortable and currently totally lacks control in my hand.

Now Orange Tiger is dead and I cannot decide how I cut it this or Cyber Power.
