String Recommendation - Fraying Issue

I am currently using a Tour Bite 16 (48 lbs) / Prince SG w Duraflex 16 (52 lbs) hybrid in a Clash 100. I have been using this setup for a year now and really like how it feels when fresh. The problem is that the Prince SG starts to fray/unwind after a couple hours of use. After 15-20 hours it is really frayed around the sweet spot and I will usually restring at this time. I am not breaking any strings but it starts to feel dead and rattlely with the strings all unraveling. Are there any string recommendations with a feel similar to the Prince SG that wouldn’t fray as much? I have used these because it is so cheap and lots of colors to choose from. I understand that the tour bite has sharp edges and cuts through the duraflex wrap - any solid synthetic gut? Thanks in advance!

Tour bite is most likely what’s cutting the syn gut and causing it to fray. It’s sharp edges dig into the soft string and tear. My recommendation is find a round poly and go from there.

Friction from the 5 edges of HG causing outer coating to wear out.
Prince SGWD is mono filament. It won't fray like Multi. String will hold until it breaks but may limit the movement of mains.

Why not switch to soft poly cross?
You can try these - PP Black force, Red Devil, TO Ghostwire, ISOSpeed Cream etc.
