Thanks for the recommendation (I love TT 310. It is an awesome, under-appreciated racquet)Unless you are a monster spin hitter (spin as your primary weapon), I really love Wilson Power 17 for a budget string.
It's softer feeling than multi, easier power than poly, and more predictable than gut. I get about 70% of the spin I get out of poly with fantastic feel, forgiveness, and placement. It's a perfectly well-balanced string for a perfectly well-balanced racket. I love the TT 310.
I have tried it anywhere from 42 (too low but not terrible) to 50 (fine). I'd say 47 to 52 depending on if you generally play tighter to begin with. Whatever you like in poly, you can bump up maybe 3 lbs with this one. Thanks for the recommendation (I love TT 310. It is an awesome, under-appreciated racquet)
Do you have any recommended tensions for Wilson Power 17?
