String recommendations please

I am starting to play tennis again after some feet issues and I am a little overwhelmed by string choices these days. I'm probably a 3.0-3.5 level player and use a Wilson Steam 99S. I have been using Wilson NXT and NXT Tour 16. I also string my own racquets.

I really would like to try some strings that will generate more spin. I don't have arm issues, but due to my age, I'm thinking a full bed of polly strings may not be a good idea. Can anybody suggest maybe 5 or so different strings that I could try? I'm willing to try hybrids, multi or NG (although I'm a little nervous about stringing with NG as I'm not a great stringer).

Thanks in advance!

Do you break strings much in your racquet? Considering that the open string pattern allows more comfort than you would get with a traditional racquet, I'd recommend that you try a soft poly like Head Lynx 16 first. It's soft enough to play it in a full bed (truly, it's a very soft poly.) Or you could try a firm synthetic gut. These two would be middle of the road on the stiffness spectrum. The Lynx would have more spin, but the syn gut would be dirt cheap and it would hold tension better.

I don't hit hard enough to break strings =) They typically break only after several uses. I wouldn't mind trying a soft poly string. I haven't been too pleased with the syn gut strings I've tried. Thanks for the recommendation!

I think a bad technique brakes strings not a hard hit. People that often brakes strings need to invest into their practice, not looking what strings they can not brake.
I can play for 2 hours with average ground strokes speed 80 mph and hard top spin but will not brake "most breakable strings".

one of the best soft polys: isospeed cream
if thats not soft enough: babolat tonic longevity mains / isospeed cream crosses

Try a soft shaped poly - cyclone tour, black widow, big hitter blue rough, ultra cable

Kevlar/zx would be a good choice for that racket. It would be pretty arm and spin friendly and a major plus is durability

I really like the prince tour xs. Great spin potential and firm string. Does anyone have any recommendations of a string that would allow more string movement. I used the xs anls the main and cross but I'd like to change the crosses to something that would let the main really pop. Any suggestions. (Kinda looking at either the prince xp or xc but if there is something better please reply)
