Currently I am using Head Youtek IG Prestige Pro, with two setups, both feel awesome and sweet on impact
- full bed of Vollk Cyclone 17, 57lbs, very crisp, lots of pop, just a bit hard on arm (not very harsh) - I think full bed of 55lbs will deliver perfect result
- hybrid of Solinco Vanquish 17 56lbs (main) x Vollk Cyclone 17 54lbs, crisp, lots of pop, powerful than full bed of Vollk Cyclone 17, easy on arm
Just bought Head YOUTEK Graphene Speed Pro and Wilson BLX Pro Staff 90, but the settings does not deliver good feel as in my Prestige Pro
Head YOUTEK Graphene Speed Pro
- Full bed of Dunlop Black Widow and Volkl Cyclone 17 at 55lbs and 53lbs (strung twice), and found it very hard hit with, feel is dead (like hitting a hard board), difficult to produce topsin even in groundstroke, no pops, sweetspot is small, not playable at all
- hybrid of Solinco Vanquish 17 50lbs (main) x Vollk Cyclone 17 48lbs, some pops, too powerful, too bouncy: very difficult to control the depth with full swing
Wilson BLX Pro Staff 90
- hybrid of Weiss CANNON Explosiv 16 55lbs (main) x Vollk Cyclone 17 52lbs, stiff & boardy (like hit a frying pan), some pop (just some. has to swing hard to get that pop feel), a bit harsh on arm. The feel not as great in my Prestige Pro
Can anyone suggest setups of Head YOUTEK Graphene Speed Pro and Wilson BLX Pro Staff 90 using "full bed of Volkl Cyclone 17g" or "inexpensive hybrid using Volkl Cyclone 17g" (actually I bought a reel of Cyclone)
