String setup for Dunlop CX 200+

Hi guys. Just curious to know what users of the Dunlop CX 200+ use as their string setups. I currently use BHS7T 1.25mm on mains at 49lbs and Signum Hextreme 1.20mm on crosses at 54lbs. Loving this stick a lot!

I play this racquet and use babolat gut in the mains, and a smooth poly in the crosses. I string right around mid-tension range.

Love this racquet as well! I like RPM Blast @48lbs the most. And that’s over Alu, Cyber Flash, cyclone, hyper g, and tour bite. I wasn’t really a fan of rpm in any of my classics but was pleasantly surprised when I took a chance on it in the 200+

I love this racket I string it with Yonex PTP 1.25 Yellow 62 lbs, multi cross 64 lbs.

But with Yonex PTP Blue 1.25 I string it at 45 lbs, multi 48 lbs. It's how much stiffer Yonex Blue is imo.

This has been my main racquet for almost 2 years.

Favorite setup is Solinco Confidential 17 at 52lbs. I also really enjoy Head Lynx Tour 17 at 51lbs - that said, even at the same gauge, HLT is a much thicker and heavier string than SC and I like the extra spring from the SC 17. Also enjoyed Dunlop Black Window at 54lb (more bite and feel but a little less control), Tier 1 Black Knight at 53lbs (good all rounder) and Solinco Hyper G Soft at 49lbs (which worked well when I had some elbow irritation after demoing a Babolat racquet).

Actually, I really loved BHS7T in a full bed at 52lbs, but it irritated my elbow - however, if it had not, it would have been a contender for the top string.

My setup with the CX200 Plus is I've weighed up 3 and 9 with 4-5 grams of lead and counterweighted this with 3grams of tungsten putty in the buttcap. Overall spec (with overgrip and rubber band dampener) is around 332 grams altogether. Great frame!

BHS7T is my fave! I use it on mains and Signum Hextreme 1.20mm on crosses. I use 2g of lead at 12 and 1g each at 3 and 9. I also removed the old grip and put on a Wilson Feathertin grip along with an over grip. Mine comes in around 320g.

Hello! Nice to meet u guys!

I've been playing with a Yonex Ezone 98. Curious about Dunlop, which I think is very underrated here in Brazil, I've just bought a CX200 for testing. Now, I'm really thinking about switching definitly to the Dunlop, but a little bit afraid of regret. A friend of mine said it works really well with hybrid POLI + MULTI (main/cross or cross/main), depending on ur objective.

Still curious to try a FX 500 Tour, but I can't find it here in my country.

BTW, I'm a new DUNLOP tester here in 2024.

Yes, this is exactly same setup I enjoy. I use CX200LS, but modify with leather and 3/9 tungsten tape, weight 333g. I use Lynx Tour and Confidential at 50lb.
They have clearance and I got four of them for around 90$ each.

However, same string setup just does not have the same feel/power on my CX200Tour18x20. I may lower them to 40lb and see.
