String suggestions - Tennis elbow with Signum possibly?

I've been using Babolat Pure Controls for a while now. Been getting elbow pains when serving and today I switched to my n6.1 95 and had no problems whatsoever with my elbow. So I'm trying to isolate the problem, the strings or the racquet. Because the Wilson is strung with a poly/syn hybrid it's hard to say yet.

Has anybody got any good hybrid suggestions? This guy I played said the only poly he can use (and he was 16) is Head Ultra Tour.

Hey Duzza do you still have my cyber/x1 hybid in the wilson or have you tried something else?

I would suggest trying TCS or Poly Polar, they are both soft and comfortable but you have to string often as they lose tension.

Sounds like the racket...I had some Pure Controls and they hurt my arm. They are 70RA (I think) which is very stiff...I know a few players that have given them up because of arm pain. I use poly in my Fischers and have never had a problem...plus SPPP is a softer poly.

I had my set up at my RDS 001MP wit SPPP mains at 56 and X1 Biphase cross, I got sore elbow. The next set up I did with the same hybrid was 50/52, elbow pain is gone. The pain was also generated by serves and not my groundstrokes. Now I use pure X1 Biphase at 60 lbs, and another with Klip excellerator at 58 lbs, no elbow pains.
Try putting soft multi on the babolat, see if pain persist.
Pure control is a stiff racquet, but my buddy uses Pro hurricane tour at 62 lbs, no complains.

Oh, is it you that I traded with! I had no idea mate!

I've still got it but it's about to snap I can see it getting cut. It's really nice and a combo I will definitely use if I switch to n6.1's. Thanks for the stringjob in it!

Technifibre NRG2, Technifibre Pro Red Code, soft awesome long lasting multi made to play exactly like Natural Gut and a soft poly, that should take care of it

flyer, as a hybrid? I'm considering buying a reel of either Topspin Cyberflash or Red Code along with a reel of a multi.

yeah as a hybrid, you could try out which you like in the mains and which in the crosses, i'd say start with the pro red code in the mains though and if you still have problems then move it to the crosses, as for the multi though i would highly recommend NRG2, it last much longer than most multis because of the coating and plays as close to natural gut as possible despite being a multi, by far the best multi on the market; to be honest i've never played with topspin cyber flash so i can't really help you there but the Pro Red Code is def softer than that is, also i'd say figure out what you like before you invest in the reel, did that help? lemme know how it goes...

Probably not good for the trial and error process if you change more than one thing at a time, but after you try a different string in your PC, you might also want to try it with a more headlight balance (if you haven't already). Check the difference in balance between your PC and nSix-One and if they are a few points apart, you could try the PC with a layout more similar to the Wilson.
