String Suggestions?

Do yall have any string suggestions for an aeropro drive?
So far i have tried pro hurricane tours 17g at 58, kirschbaum spiky shark 17g full bed at 55 and also tried it strung at 52, and a hybrid of both kirschbaum spiky shark and proline II Mains: kirschbaum spiky shark 17g/Crosses:Kirschbaum Proline II 18g both strung at 55.

Playing Style: I use a full western grip and have a 2hbh but mostly focus on spin and consistency at baseline as a defensive baseliner. I normally use full poly setups and am wondering if a poly/multifilament hybrid would fit my game at all.I have been stringing lower recently more towards the lower 50's to make up for my more extreme grip.

What would be a string setup worth trying? Oh and how are the Volkl Cyclones 18g?

If you feel like you want a softer stringbed then you can go ahead and try a hybrid with a multi (or even a synthetic).

What did you NOT like about the strings you have tried?

Well to be honestly i really liked them all for different reasons and i dont have alot of negative comments on them but im just looking for a new string setup that would have more bite and better tension maintenance

If your aiming for spin with softness. A good hybrid would be WeisCANNON Black5Edge with Mantis Comfort Synthetic in the cross. MCS is a multi

This combo is pure magic for me.

Man, I'm going to try that setup. It must be pretty special because I've seen multiple posts by you praising that combo to the heavens lol. I realize strings are all about personal preference, but when someone has nothing but good things to say about a particular string or string combo, it generates enough curiosity for me to give it a whirl.

I put a full bed of B5E in my son's racquet (has 2 Ozone 7s with Volkl Cyclone in the other). I figured he'd prefer B5E because he's a hard hitter with fairly good topspin, and "I think" the B5E is slightly lower-powered compared to Cyclone, but nope. Eh, he's 16 - his opinion could change tomorrow lol.

There are a few of us who are string junkies that like this setup including Bad_Call and KCraig. Give it a go and report back.

I most certainly will, and yeah, it's string junkies like you that keep me buying string to try. The problem is I have more string than I know what to do with lol. That's not a bad thing really, but it certainly takes me a while to get around to it. I'll make a point to try it this coming week!

Think of it this way, if a string junkie finds a setup that makes him/her stop trying other strings, it must be pretty darn good!

Thanks everyone! ill try this setup for sure! ill report back to yall when ive got those babies on my racquet

oh and whats a soft string to use that helps get rid of arm pain? (not for me) a friend asked me this question) i really couldnt answer him since i normally only use poly set ups and basically have since i started playing seriously.
